We were moved to this hotel by easyJet when our flight was cancelled and they had to find us a hotel room for the night. The hotel was modern, clean and well located (although from personal preference we preferred Mitte where we had been staying) and the staff were very friendly and let us check in early. However they seriously...

We stayed here not by choice but due to a strike at Berlin Airport and EasyJet organised our accommodation for 2 nights. We were greeted by the General Manager who couldn't be more helpful as were all the front desk team who did whatever they could to make our stay enjoyable. This morning they even printed out train timetables for...

Stayed here for 3 nights and have never had better service anywhere else (including 5 star hotels - Ritz Carlton, Sheraton, Park Hyatt, etc.) Thomas from the bar and front desk was not only attentive but was also one of the most hardworking workers I have ever seen. Very understating and even helped us booked our cancelled flight. Without HOTEL...

only a few minutes walk from the Gedächtniskirche and the surrounding area which is appealing for a lot of restaurants. Check in was swift, the room was small with a strange corner at one side of the bed (because of the shape of the building). The bed was excellent and luckily I had a walk in shower instead of a...

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo Ku'damm from start to finish. Reception staff could not have been more helpful and approachable. Particular thanks goes to Veikko for his helpful suggestions and advice. We liked the location - it is very handy for the station and only a few minutes by train to the tourist sites. It is also...

This boutique style hotel is a real gem in the heart of West Berlin very close to Zoologischer Garten station but far enough from the crowds. There are plenty nice and different restaurants in a walk distance (towards Kurfurstendamm). I liked everything about my stay: the room itself, the view from the room (the room came with the quite big...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
