I think this hostel was the cheapest option that I found in Berlin and it was really comfortable. Nice hall, nice workers. But if you are planning to use a shared room please think it that is the cheapest option and the rooms are always full of people from different ages. I think that Neukoln is a good location but...

Dear Melanie, thanks for your nice review. We have realized the problems regarding the WIFI and try to fix the problem. The 12 hours can be splitted on your own as you need the time for the WIFI. We would be happy to welcome you again in the 2A Hostel. Kind regards, 2A Hostel

At our disposal are private lockers in the rooms, kitchen, laundry. The rooms are neat and pretty, bathroom large and clean, free wifi, you can buy breakfast. I would recommend asking the rooms located on the city side and not the side of the tracks.

This hostel is clean and staff are friendly. Stayed in six bed dorm and en suite was nice. Runs along train lines which makes it very noisey if you need windows open. Location is not very good but can get trains easily to centre.

We stayed in Berlin for a week in a 6 bed dorm. The room was always hot and it was very difficult to get to sleep, there is a fan in the room but this didn't circulate the air at all. We also couldn't open the windows as they seemed to be locked shut. Kitchen was also a little dissapointing,...

I was suprised by the very clean and comfortable rooms. I stayed in a mixed 6 dorm room. It had a lot of space and its own bathroom. The beds where comfy. The staff was really friendly and helpful. You got a free wifi code so you could use free wifi for up to 12 hours. The hostel is located...

The hostel was okay for the price that we paid, but when we arrived we had some problems with reservation that the boss and staff nicely solved. Big thanks to Claudia and the guy that was usually working with her but I never had the chance to ask for his name. They were very helpful about things to see in...

Upon checkin was told that our reservation had been canceled due to having been charged the wrong price. They said the booking website was at fault, and others were also having problems. They did check me in at a higher price, thank goodness, as the city was booked with zero notice to find a place. The "wrong" price is still...

This hostel is the perfect place if you wanna visit and party in Berlin. Very good located, close to a sbahn ring station (line that goes around Berlin). Personal is very kind. There is also a bar, with a terrace where we could easily meet people and also drink and smoke Berlin specialities! Really had a great time there !...

I booked this hostel because it was the cheapest and it was accesible. The Hostel was also clean and the beds were large enough. It also has a safe lock which only you can access via the NFC card. The room is also not in aircondition and its near the train station so you need to have an earplug with...

Visited this hostel last week with friend. We spent 4 nights in here. Hostel was nice but not so nice as it shows in advertising, and pictures. Cleaning servise was ok, staff were friendly, but really busy, because of a lot of guests were always spining around. It was really nice if they had free wifi (only 1 hour is...

Staying in Neukolln

Neighbourhood Profile
Neukolln
No Berlin neighbourhood is more popular with the young and jet-set crowd than the old worker's district of Neukölln. With so many Turkish settled here, the area became known as “Little Istanbul“. Today the percentage of foreigners is still high and visitors still frequent the Turkish shisha bars. In the daytime, they also visit the designer shops and sit by the canal in one of the street cafés up and down Westerstrasse or at Maybachufer, having a beer and waving to the sightseeing boats as they float by. But at night, Neukölln is dominated by increasingly young, alternative, and international crowds. This is particularly evident in the northern section of the district where there are many bars, funky clubs, galleries and restaurants. There, the night never seems to end.
