The apartment was perfect for our family Christmas. From the moment we booked several months earlier, the Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. They even organised a Christmas tree for our stay, which was an added delight. The apartments are located in Mitte and are very central. We were easily able to walk to many of the key sites...

Interesting location, new clean and warm reasonably priced apartments with everything you need and helpful staff. Made our stay easy and enjoyable, allowing us to focus on everything that Berlin has to offer. Pros - almost everything Cons - would have liked washing machine and drier in the Apartment, but access to machines in basement is provided

Honestly, you can do no better than the Circus Apartments in Berlin. Between the super-friendly and helpful concierge and the beautifully decorated apartments with HEATED FLOORS, it was just the most wonderful experience and staying here really made my boyfriend and I feel special. The location is wonderfully central and just at the bottom of the street is the coolest...

We stayed here over Christmas week in a 3 bedroom apartment. It was very large with a nice big living area in a safe part of East Berlin. Walking distance to some places and easy public transport to major attractions. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Loved the little bar/restaurant at street level for hanging out, drinking wine and...

We spend a couple of weeks traveling through Europe each year for Christmas. This year we picked Berlin for New Years with our teenage children. This was one of 4 apartments we had during our trip and it was by far the best. Excellent facilities and kitchen. Quite often you have a kitchen with no supplies making it impossible to...

We booked 4 nights at Circus Apartments on the recommendation of friends who had stayed there, and we now share their enthusiasm. For the price of a 4-star hotel, we got a modern, spotless and spacious apartment with a huge bathroom, bedroom with a king bed, living and dining areas and a kitchen "wall." Though you don't get daily maid...

We had originally booked at the Circus Hotel, which gets great reviews, but a few weeks before our trip, they offered to have us in the Circus Apartments instead - one bedroom apartment with kitchen, etc. We were staying for 4 nights, so an apartment was perfect for us, with all the extra space. Location was just about 5 minutes...

Our family of 5 including 3 adults, 1 teenager and 1 under 5 stayed here in December 2015. The apartment was huge with 2 lounge areas and a kitchen. Rooms were spacious as were the 2 full sized bathrooms with one bath and 2 showers (one over the bath). Staff were amazing - couldn't say enough about them. Just lovely....

We stayed at The Circus Apartments for 3 nights in early November 2015. We originally booked the Circus Hotel but the staff upgraded us to the apartments a couple of days before our arrival. We could not have been more impressed with our apartment, Mustermann, when the lovely Clara showed us around upon our arrival late in the evening. The...

There is nothing negative that we can say about Circus Apartments. The apartments are large and comfortable. A free laundry was a blessing as was the iron and ironing board in the apartment. There is a comfortable bed and good bathroom as well as good storage space. For those such as us who like to cook sometimes while travelling, there...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
