A pleasantly designed hotel backing on the zoo (to which guests have private access through the hotel property) and Tiergarten. Some nice touches, such as breakfast through 11 on weekdays and later on weekends, touch controls for each room’s electronics (and drapes, in the rooms with very tall ceilings), and an accommodating staff (including bartenders fluent in classic cocktails) make...

Wonderful hotel right next to the Tiergarten and the renowned Cafe am Neuen See. Loved the breakfast there - try the pancakes! Hotel was ideally located for seeing most of the tourist stuff, a short walk from one of the stops on the bus route. Knowledgeable staff gave us excellent recommendations for dinner on a Friday and Saturday night and...

Das Stue is a quiet, elegant oasis in Berlin. It's nestled just inside Tiergarten, which protects it from a lot of hustle and bustle. Beautiful room, great service. One drawback, depending on your viewpoint, is that even though it's centrally located in the city, it isn't really part of a "neighborhood" per se, with lots of cafes and shops outside...

Great Hotel with average service. Loud when you have a room facing the bar terrace. breakfast with rich choice, spanish influence. Service slow. Tiergarten in front of the Hotel is ideal for a run. Walking distance to Zoo district and Kurfürstendamm. Around the Corner from top rated Beer Garden "Cafe am Neuen See"

We absolutely loved our stay at Das Stue. Everything from start to finish was excellent. The location is great, as there are good cafes etc within a short stroll and the nearest Ubahns were a ten minute walk.

We were greeted at the entrance to this impressive building, the former Danish Embassy, and shown to the reception area where we were quickly checked in then shown to our room, number 106, in the original part of the building, so we had a wonderful high ceiling. We had a Stue room which, although the most basic room, exceeded our...

The location in the park made this place such pleasant place to stay. Great to get in the morning walk or afternoon run between meetings. The dining, service and lounge were so gemütlich. I wish I could have stayed longer. The room was so comfortable and the bed was probably one of the best I've had in a hotel.

We had a business dinner here and the food was fantastic. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. We started with a selection of tapas, then a choice of 3 mains and everyone received two deserts as well. Well worth a visit.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
