Arriving late in the evening i was surprised by the modest entrance, however check-in was effective and fast, room clean and not noisy, great value for money and good connectivity in the trendy Kreuzberg. Fast and reliable WiFi

Stayed at this hotel for two nights and my partner and I were very happy with it, it is located in East Kreuzberg a great district of Berlin with lots to see and do, amazing bars all around the place and good eateries also. The room was spotless and very quiet - we couldn't hear any noise from any of...

Im currently laying in my room at this hotel and feel so strongly about my stay I'm writing the review now. I booked this hotel for three nights 1/7-1/10/16 via hotels.com as they have it a stellar 4 star rating. Front desk service stinks. The hotel advised on all websites and over the phone that for an additional fee of...

The rooms were very clean and modern. However, the staff could have been more attentive. We arrived very late on a Saturday night. When we got to the hotel, the two people at the desk didn't greet us or ask if we needed help. They didn't even point out where the elevators were located (we had to ask for any...

The hotel was excellent. Great modern room, a nice breakfast, wifi (although you have to log again in every time). During the day, the neighbourhood is oke. At evening/night the nearby U-bahn exit is occupied with jong man who try to sell stuff/drugs. Not a good neighbourhood for woman alone.

We've stayed in this hotel twice during trips to Berlin and we have enjoyed both our stays there. The hotel is clean and modern, with nice sized rooms with windows over an old Berlin street. It also had a nice breakfast buffet. The hotel is in an area that has been traditionally populated by Turkish immigrants but now is starting...

This hotel was perfect for a brief business stay whilst working nearby at Arena Berlin (10 min cab). The staff are friendly, room was excellent (especially the bathroom) and the bar area all though not brilliant, was a good place to meet colleagues before venturing out nearby to a choice of a few restaurants.. I'd stay here again no problem.

Booked during a period of high demand, so the rate was sky high. Good: near U-bahn, room was clean, nice bathroom, cool light switches Bad: bad neighbourhood, no sights nearby, 2 beds pushed together does not mean a king bed; room was too hot, despite being cold outside - no a/c, unhelpful staff Ugly: extremely poor value, very noisy through...

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
