So the positives; the hotel was very clean and all the staff were very friendly. Negative; the rooms are quite small. The hotel is not that close to town and takes about half an hour to reach Alexanderplatz. However this is quite a pleasant journey. Overall would recommend for a cheap stay.

The first thing I met was a super helpful and friendly receptionist. It is only a short tram ride to all the main sights. €6,70 for a day pass. Clean sheets and fluffy pillows. Very basic room. The only negative thing was the shower. The water would become scorching hot momentarily, most likely due to a toilet being flushed. Overall...

Rooms are very clean, but basic. The website shows big rooms, but be aware, there are also small rooms, hidden on the top floor corners. To get to the top (4th) floor, there is an elevator, but only to 3rd floor. You need to climb stairs 1 more floor. Price for room is great (compared to value). There was an...

I stayed in the 'Alte Feuerwache' (Old Firestation) in the Hohenschönhausen district in Berlin for three nights. I can recommend this hotel as it is very clean and has a nice and cosy feel to it. I only had the breakfasts ( buffet ) which was nice, but I have been told that the cuisine is renowned locally. The hotel...

We stayed here for 3 nights for a last minute birthday trip, Firstly I would highly recommend you buy a travel pass as you will definitely need it!! We ordered ours online and collected them at the airport. We then got the RB14 (direction Nauen) train to Alexanderplatz, then a 20 minute tram ride on the M5 (zinger st) to...

This lovely looking hotel is about 5km north of the centre of Berlin ,but dont let that put you off as the Tram line is 100 metres (we had to catch the M5 tram) from the entrance which in 15-20 mins takes you straight to the heart of Berlin also it stops at various other interesting places such as Alexanderplatz...

I ordered over the Internet and I was afraid to be disappointed, but instead I found an intimate hotel, with a pleasant and efficient staff. The receptionists are very familiar with tourist spots in Berlin. The location of the hotel is not right in the center but the important destinations are a drive of about 20 minutes tram. From the...

The hotel is excellent value for money, the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and pretty nice, decent décor and good sized bathroom. The hotel is a little far out, about 20 mins on the tram, wasn't too much trouble as the trams are regular and the stop is only a minute away from the hotel. I...
