What would you pay for a hostel? €30-40? Sure as hell not €170! If I wasn't so tired I'd have marched straight out. I always try and be positive so the good point, the sheets were clean, or at least appeared so. I didn't check all six beds in the room. I'll leave it there except to say that I... More

Never in my life i had such accomodation for this price!!! Avoid this dump! The rooms are small, the bath is like 0.8 sqm on the corridor and the WC also. Small ugly hotel for more than 150 Eur for a double room. Unbelivable!!!

Excellent value hotel for a leisure visit, close to the antique street with scores of antique stores, and close to the coach station and U-bahn, with bus stops also close by. well served by the bar downstairs, and the supermarket opposite.

Stayed here for the Berlin half marathon and had no problems whatsoever. The room was basic but clean. Every request was met without any fuss. Stayed 1st to 4th April 2016. There is a pub right next door and two supermarkets across the road. A ten minute walk to Charlottenburg S Bahn. I would return.

A dirty old and very bad serviced hotel. My room was cancelled for "problems with my card" no reply on emails. B ready for nasty surprises when you arrive in your room! Not possible to close curtains, beds without covers, dirty bathrooms and so on.. The employee behind the desk doesn't speak English and will leave you standing.

I stayed here with my parents for three night. We booked a tripple toom and it was HUGE!!!! Everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was definitely a bargain. It's close to the metro, train and bus station. More than work it. When I visit Berlin again I'll definitely try to book a stay here. The lady who helped us spoke... More

I stayed here with my family (6 adults) over the weekend to attend a party in Berlin. We did not expect much since it's very cheap (16 €/head/night with breakfast) and because of the photos that were shared by guests from the past (some of which date back to 2007). The room sure didn't look much like the ones on... More

We had a great time here. It's not luxurious or anything but hey you aren't paying much. Breakfast was basically bread, cheese and cold meats and boiled eggs. It was clean and we had our own toilet. I found it to be really cheap 74 euros for 2 nights for the two of us which included breakfast and free parking... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
