Small hotel with quiet location. Breakfast was ok and hotel was clean. No elevator and breakfast is located in third floor. Prostitution next street was little disturbing. I booked room with wifi (according to booking system it should work in whole hotel) but it didn't work in our room. When we told about it, stuff said we had economy room...

We stayed 3 nights here in September, 2016 during the hottest week over the century in Berlin. The weather outside was +32 degrees, extremely hot. Therefore the main disappointment with the hotel was that none of the rooms have air-conditioning and even the fridge... So it was impossible to stay in the hotel during the day - very hot, no...

The arrival was a bit interesting because the area is full of prostitutes and may seem a bit seedy. But the street where the hotel is is very nice and quite. The area turns out to be quite safe and there is a very nice area with lots of restaurants, close to the metro station. The hotel is very clean,...

Nice hotel in the center of Berlin. The hotel is situated in a quiet street but neighborhood is full of prostitutes but from hotel you won't see them because hotel is in the side street. A room is nice and good equipped. Wifi works well. Restaurant is in the attic and you can sit outside to enjoy beautiful garden. This...

Very nice hotel. We stayed there for four nights. Breakfast is very good with a lot of different things to choose from. It is placed at the topfloor that has an very cosy outdoor terrace. There is no elevator - thats a bit tough with heavy luggage. The neighbourhood is not for children though. There is a lot of prostitutes...

This is a super little hotel tucked away. Very well priced, quiet, very comfortable and clean with large rooms, high ceilings and large comfortable beds. I loved this place. Easy access not Berlin via train and short 5 minute walk to station. A 10 minute walk to a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars. Well lit and pleasant ambience. Parking...

This pensionlike hotell was great for our family. Two big spacious rooms, clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast with a great terrace on the roof. Priceworthy. The location is quite central with tubestations close by. Nice neighborhood eventhough there are prostitutes just around the corner. But they stick to themselves and their customers.

It's an OK hotel: PROs - big rooms, friendly staff, very good breakfast CONs - the location is not very good, surrounded by streets with "working girls" around the clock, though they are harmless but annoying. Wifi in the room is sometimes very slow

I stayed here for two nights with my spouse in July. We booked from hotels.com, booking was easy, everything worked fine. A nice plus was that as we arrived very early to leave our bags, it appeared that our room was already available. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the price well affordable. The hotel is in a...

Reception staff were very friendly upon arrival. Our room was huge with high ceilings and big windows, decorated very nicely and the bed was reasonably comfortable, however we had a small bathroom. Pretty much every sound echoed through the building and we were woken up early by what we guessed were the staff setting up for breakfast, which was a...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

“Not sure what to say, but we had room 11 which was lovely.”

“Avoid rooms located next to the external fire escape to the rear of the building. There was a chair and table on the landing outside our room and smokers congregated right outside our room at various hours. Unfortunately the curtains were done on the cheap - ikea jobs with no black out lining and they were also too small for the windows so very light at night time and people could see straight into the room if the light was on at night. (or if smoking right outside the room in the fire escape). - this was a real let down for the property.”
