Pension Peters was a wonderful place to stay at! The rooms had high ceilings and large windows, the beds were super confortable. We went there as a class for our end of year trip, the staff was friendly and patient. The breakfast was delicious, in general, the atmosphere was very pleasant. The location is also very practical.

My mom and I stayed at the Pension Peters for two nights in December. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions and giving us directions to places we wanted to go to. The breakfast in the morning was large and delicious, our beds were comfortable, and the room was warm and cozy. It is...

We arrived later when the reception is closed but collecting the key from the neighbouring bar was fine. Room functional rather than luxurious and we were around the back. It was quiet and fine. Breakfast very European and fine. I like the fact it is small and has its own quirky character. It is well located near both S bahn...

Pension Peters is a great place because it has all the great features that a B&B and a hotel have. Pension Peters does a great job of making you want to come back. Location is a plus because of all the services available to visitors such as good restaurants, cafes, public transportation, grocery store, entertainment and an ATM all steps...

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at Pension Peters. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful and English speaking. We had breakfast each morning, which was very nicely done (for an additional, yet reasonable, charge). We had a room off the back courtyard, away from the street, which was very quiet. The room itself is not deluxe and could certainly...

Room on front with a bay window. Nice street scene. Leafy surrounding given this urban setting. Nice optional breakfast at a fair price. Helpful information from the front desk about sites, transportation, performances, etc. This was a fine choice.

The location and price are unbeatable. If you come late, your key is left at the bar next door with directions on how to find your room. The furnishings are eclectic and simple. I had a room in the back house which was very quiet. Wifi is free. It's not fancy, but it has charm. And despite being rough around...

We had a great stay at Pension Peters. Daisy was a brilliant advisor on where to go and when. We love this part of Berlin - it is hard to beat the convenience and vibe. Breakfast is excellent. The only drawback is that the rear rooms looking onto the Hof suffer from the noise of some kind of exhaust or...

Second time that we have stayed a couple of nights at Peters Pension. Both times we enjoyed the stay. The layout of the "hotel" is a bit quirky, with a variety of types and locations of rooms throughout the building. One enters through the breakfast room, which is open and sunny and faces onto the street. There's also a very...

The Pension is a 3 minute walk from the Savigny Platz S Train. From here you can get to anywhere in Berlin. The location is absolutely superb. The rooms are spartan but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was tight - which is often the case in Europe. But very clean. We enjoyed our stay!!! There is no lift at this...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
