A basic but really clean hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. A bit of a journey out of the city. Berlins transport system is quite complicated. Especially, if you're hungover or drunk or both. I would recommend this hotel as long as your prepared for the 20 minute travel.

Hotel Pankow is very clean and safe. Other than that expect nothing more. This is a no frills city hotel. It was very convenient for where I needed to be, so I booked it. Upon arrival you will find out that your GPS (if you are driving a rental) will bring you to the main street in front of the... More

The hotel's main selling point for me was the value for money and availability of single rooms. The hotel is currently renovating some rooms and I had the advantage of staying in one of the completed rooms. It is sparsely furnished but has just what is needed - rather like a University Halls but neater and cleaner. Breakfast was 7... More

This hotel shakes when a tram passes by and I could clearly hear people talking and kids screaming from other rooms and from the corridor. If you are on a business trip, i don't think you want to stay in a loud and noisy hotel.

Do yourself a favour a don't stay here. Stay in a hostel instead, cheaper and nicer. The worst service EVER. Do not stay here. I don't even know where to begin. We arrived to find our booking had been mysteriously 'cancelled' despite having confirmed the booking a week before our arrival. Being NYE, we were then forced to pay extra... More

I am not good at writing theese, so I will make it shot: Awesome hotel with outstanding service. I would book a stay there again for sure. It might not be in the heart of Berlin so transport is needed, but that was the reason I jooied this hotel, and I don't regret it for a second

I arrived here tired of a long flight from Chiang Mai, Thailand; I found snugly cozy room facing backside. After drinking a Berliner Pilsner in the cafe of the hotel and chattering with a late night part timer, I fell asleep sleeping a death-like slumber. Next morning, I ordered breakfast (seven euros)-wow, breakfast in five star hotels can be rivaled... More

Staff very unfriendly, room noisy from the traffic (even on the fourth floor), I booked for a double room and I was assigned one room with two beds, very ill-bred guests (screaming and shouting late at nigt and early in the morning), wi-fi only in the cafeteria and not in the rooms, breakfast not included in the room rate and,...
