We stayed here for 2 nights and it was totally not worth it. All hotel or I would call it hostel is really in bad/old shape - needs renovation. Room was not clean with a lot of dust on all surfaces, old tv, no fridge, old furniture. A lot of noise coming from the street so totally impossible to sleep,...

Well, what to say. This place is more like bed& breakfast or hostel. I've been to better 3 star hotels. The rooms are very basic. There also were closed blinds on all windows. I did not feel 100% comfortable in the bathroom - it did not feel really clean, e.g. old hair in the blow dryer. The reception couldnt really...

Do yourself and the staff a favour. Stay away from this place. Dirty, worn down, unfriendly staff and very poor breakfast (Luke yoghurt, stale bread and broken dishes). You really felt that the "guests" were an anoying factor for the staff. Our room was not vacumed while we were there, or before we arrived, as a hairpin was there when...

Weird looking hotel is lacking some style. Rooms are clean, with tiny tv, no air con or fridge. Breakfast is simple, but for someone with alergies not much to eat. Its a bit strange that woman from the quitchen is standing besides when youre picking the food.

We were there in 3 days (a weekend) and I felt some smell like old dress or something like that the hole time. I should let the window open when I was out, otherwise I could not tolerate the smell. It is not a luxury hotel and you will get what you pay for.

Very nice staff, alle were very helpful and avaliable at all time. The room was small and very dusty. At arrival we found chewinggum under the bed, witch was a bit disgusting. The shower door was broken and the windows were old and could only open wide, witch wasn't good with small children. Overall, we've had a great trip, but...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
