This was a great place to stay for our four-adult family. Very comfortable and modern, and much less expensive than two rooms in a hotel. Excellent location. Plus there is a kitchenette which really came in handy. Definitely recommend it!

We spent 6 nights here in early June. We wanted an apartment rather than a hotel, and we stayed in an extroverted loft in the new building, as we were carrying 5 weeks of luggage and needed a lift. Apartment size was great, plenty of room to unpack and spread out. Great location near main station and even closer to buses, trams and a short walk to u- Bahn at Naturkundmuseum or S-Bahn at Nordbahnhof. Restaurants within east walking distance. We even walked relatively quickly to the river, Bundestag and Brandenburg Gate. Little kitchenette with enough for 2 people to make breakfast, which we liked doing. It was great having access to a washing machine, although you need 4 x1 Eu coins…and read the instructions to be back before the end of a cycle, otherwise once the machine turns off, the door locks and you have to go to the owner’s apartment to sheepishly ask to have it unlocked. Some very minor negatives…no airconditioning..ok for most of the year, but we had 30 degree C days. The apartment would cool down reasonably quickly when we came in after a hot day and opened all of the windows and turned the fans on, but once you open the windows, it can be a bit noisy at night. The curtains we’re bit difficult to close properly to get darkness, important when you have late sunset and early sunrise. The TV didn’t seem hooked up to an antenna, so we could only get Music..this wasn’t that important. The hosts prepared a great guidebook to help people find things.

My wife and I stayed here for several days in early July 2022, while visiting our daughter during her college study abroad in Berlin. We chose one of the "compact" apartments. We got tremendous value. The open-floor included a queen futon-style bed, living space with a convertible sofa, kitchenette with eat-in dining set, full bath, with tub and shower, and airy feel with tall ceilings and big casement windows that look out onto the building's shaded quiet compound. The temperatures were in the mid-70s Fahrenheit maximum while we were there, and the apartment stayed cool and very comfortable. The apartment was extremely clean and very modern and well updated. With a few extra pieces of furniture for storage, I could see a young, minimalist person getting their start in life living here. The kitchen featured a cube refrigerator, small stainless food prep area and sink, and modern cabinetry. The apartment has adequate implements to prepare, cook and serve basic meals. We hit the local markets and brought in lots of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, berries, chocolates, nuts, wines and beers for cold meals and snacking, to augment our eating out. The building has a coin-operated laundry in the basement that we didn't get around to using. Rubbish and recycling removal is easy on the property. The neighborhood, Mitte, has tons of restaurants, bars, markets, and other stores, but the apartment and its immediate surrounding felt very quiet at all hours. The apartment is just off of Invalidenstrasse, and is an easy walk or tram ride along Invalidenstrasse to/from Hauptbanhof HBF (Berlin Central Station). The tram stop nearest the hotel is naturkundemuseum, at Invalidenstrasse and Hessische.

I stayed at miniloft for 3 weeks and I was locked out one Sunday early evening until after midnight when the government had an enforced curfew of 11 pm. I had no where to go as I was a visitor to the city and had to get another hotel room for the night with only the clothes on my back. The management was unreachable during the weekend and the emergency number was disconnected. When I returned the following morning and asked for compensation as a form of acknowledgement for this miscommunication I was spoken to defensively without remorse or understanding which then was followed by several emails where the hotel refused to take any responsibility for being unreachable incase of an emergency. I felt unsafe as my well being and that of their guests was not their priority. I would not recommend staying here.

The apartment has a great location, a very interesting design, with a very comfortable bed and is very spacious. Some points, however, that must be considered: The quality of the accessories does not match the sophistication of the design: towels, kitchen utensils, hairdryer and others are of dubious quality and are already very old. It seems like a very cheap thing to save and the owners should make this investment. After the first breakfast, I sent an e-mail to the administration with a picture of the frying pan, completely impossible to use, because anything sticks, and I asked for another one, but the answer was, "it's the only we have." I went to the corner and bought a great one for 20 euros.. Do not expect to have human contact with anyone. On the first day, we looked for someone to fix a question. It was business hours and we couldn't find anyone, even calling the emergency phone or ringing the bell. I sent an email and it was answered quickly, but if there was indeed an emergency ... the apartment has no air conditioning. We traveled in the last days of summer and, luckily, we didn't face very hot temperatures. Maybe due to the very central location, the apartment at night can be noisy, with many cars with loud sirens. The apartment does not have a cleaning service, but towels are changed if you ask. We also used the laundry room, which is in a building next door, and everything was fine. We pay 4 euros for a wash, drying is not charged.

As soon as my friend and I walked into our room, we never wanted to leave. It was perfect, great amount of space, amazing views, warm and clean. Not to mention the Minilofts are in the best location so we could move around the city with ease. The architecture was stunning and made me dream about one day living in an apartment just like the design of the mini lofts! Would absolutely come again and I recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Berlin.

Miniloft felt both like my own apartment where I can have privacy space but also a hotel where I could get help from staff. I loved the minimal yet comfortable design of the building and room, without extra fluff. It was just as pleasant to stay indoors lounging on the comfortable bed, as it was to walk out and take the bus or UBahn to go explore Berlin. I appreciate that the architects both designed the space and are running it. The details felt welcoming. I carried the Miniloft-published guidebook everywhere.

If you love modern, sustainable sensitive design you will love this space. The room was REALLY clean, well organized, every detail thought about, like umbrella to use while you stay. The reception folks were more than helpful, they were kind. The location is near several outstanding places for healthy and excellent food. And the tourist highlights are walkable, at least for us.

I can't do better than echo the other 5-star reviews: all they say is spot-on. The warm welcome (in flawless English from a multinational team), the stimulating and helpfully portable local info in the room, the lending library of guidebooks in the office, the perfectly equipped kitchen, the quiet yet well-connected location, the spotless, stylish decor - all unbeatable. Berlin can be daunting on a first visit and Miniloft gives confidence as well comfort. I'm giving 4 for location only because there are more characterful areas to stay in, but having bus, tram, S Bahn & U Bahn almost on the doorstep was a big plus in that category.

This was my first time in Berlin, and staying at Miniloft Apartment is definitely a great decision. Great location, Miniloft’s team, stylish and elegant apartment! It is very close to public transportation and I can also walk to some key places in Berlin just within few mins away. The staffs are all very responsive in a friendly manner with a lot of helpful information about the city and other stuff . and the room! It is a simple elegant Berlin modern minimalist style, with lots of smart detailings (love!). For me, finding the right place to stay during travelling, is a great deal and for that, I will definitely recommend Miniloft to my fellow friends and family! Thank you so much, I really enjoy the hospitality during my entire stay in Miniloft Apartment!
