My girlfriend and I stayed in one of the introvert miniloft apartments for three months!!! It was the most awesome place to stay at and work from. The location is strategically optimal, right smack in the center of Berlin. Truly a place to fall in love with!
I stayed at miniloft for 3 weeks and I was locked out one Sunday early evening until after midnight when the government had an enforced curfew of 11 pm. I had no where to go as I was a visitor to the city and had to get another hotel room for the night with only the clothes on my back. The management was unreachable during the weekend and the emergency number was disconnected. When I returned the following morning and asked for compensation as a form of acknowledgement for this miscommunication I was spoken to defensively without remorse or understanding which then was followed by several emails where the hotel refused to take any responsibility for being unreachable incase of an emergency. I felt unsafe as my well being and that of their guests was not their priority. I would not recommend staying here.…
The apartment has a great location, a very interesting design, with a very comfortable bed and is very spacious. Some points, however, that must be considered: The quality of the accessories does not match the sophistication of the design: towels, kitchen utensils, hairdryer and others are of dubious quality and are already very old. It seems like a very cheap thing to save and the owners should make this investment. After the first breakfast, I sent an e-mail to the administration with a picture of the frying pan, completely impossible to use, because anything sticks, and I asked for another one, but the answer was, "it's the only we have." I went to the corner and bought a great one for 20 euros.. Do not expect to have human contact with anyone. On the first day, we looked for someone to fix a question. It was business hours and we couldn't find anyone, even calling the emergency phone or ringing the bell. I sent an email and it was answered quickly, but if there was indeed an emergency ... the apartment has no air conditioning. We traveled in the last days of summer and, luckily, we didn't face very hot temperatures. Maybe due to the very central location, the apartment at night can be noisy, with many cars with loud sirens. The apartment does not have a cleaning service, but towels are changed if you ask. We also used the laundry room, which is in a building next door, and everything was fine. We pay 4 euros for a wash, drying is not charged.…
As soon as my friend and I walked into our room, we never wanted to leave. It was perfect, great amount of space, amazing views, warm and clean. Not to mention the Minilofts are in the best location so we could move around the city with ease. The architecture was stunning and made me dream about one day living in an apartment just like the design of the mini lofts! Would absolutely come again and I recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Berlin.
Miniloft felt both like my own apartment where I can have privacy space but also a hotel where I could get help from staff. I loved the minimal yet comfortable design of the building and room, without extra fluff. It was just as pleasant to stay indoors lounging on the comfortable bed, as it was to walk out and take the bus or UBahn to go explore Berlin. I appreciate that the architects both designed the space and are running it. The details felt welcoming. I carried the Miniloft-published guidebook everywhere.
