Clean and pleasant hotel. We paid for room only and suited 3 of us sharing. Easy to find and within walking distance for good public transport network. Area felt very relaxed and friendly and lots of neighbourhood shops and cafes to eat - even a ALDI and neighbourhood shopping centrre nearby. Situated on a busy road but rooms quiet if...

I spent two nights here on a business trip. The area is not much to talk about - I picked the hotel because it was in a walking distance from the business partner. The U-Bahn is however close so the connections are no problem. The reception is not staffed 24h a day, but it was no problem to arrange for...

Only 20 mins from the centre via the great transport system. . The staff were very helpful with info on eateries, pubs in the...

I booked this room for one night as I was on business in Berlin. It's slightly out of the main centre, and most of the rooms are quiet. They are clean, and the bed was comfortable. As I am somewhat "wider" than most I had asked for a room with either a large bath tub or a large shower. i...

The hotel was reasonably priced, clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The wifi didn't work most of the time and the hotel wasn't located in a very attractive area; in fact it felt rather like an industrial park. Luckily the hotel is close to the U-bahn and S-bahn, underground and above ground trains. I would stay there again...

Great hotel. Feels like a private apartment. Good standard, up to date / renovated. Did only have one baby bed and it was in use by other guests, so ask good time in advance. Stayed in room with capacity for four, great with separate room for children/baby. Very helpful receptionist. Near turkish shops, great for food and sweets. Also near...

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. I felt like I was entering an attractive apartment building as you could go straight to your room without passing through a reception area. The stairway was very smart and looked like white marble. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Good shower. Good transport links. Fantastic breakfast. Very private. Like Mikael W,...

We stayed for business because our chosen hotel was full. The hotel was clean and tidy and very near the underground station so easy for travelling around the city. The receptionist was very helpful also. Downsides were the pillows werent great and the wifi didnt work. The neighbourhood wasnt great either. Overall would say a fine budget base to see...

That is very clean, small hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Not too expensive. Quite good location. Although ingredients used in breakfast are quite cheap (from Lidl), the breakfast was really nice. Modern TV mostly with German channels, but you can find something in English or even Polish language.

I am not used to this kind of three star hotels. Normally I travel in business matters and visit four or five star hotels in the city centre. This time I wanted to find a hotel close to my sons apartment in Berlin. I was meet by a very charming young lady in the reception desk. The area in the...

Staying in Neukolln

Neighbourhood Profile
No Berlin neighbourhood is more popular with the young and jet-set crowd than the old worker's district of Neukölln. With so many Turkish settled here, the area became known as “Little Istanbul“. Today the percentage of foreigners is still high and visitors still frequent the Turkish shisha bars. In the daytime, they also visit the designer shops and sit by the canal in one of the street cafés up and down Westerstrasse or at Maybachufer, having a beer and waving to the sightseeing boats as they float by. But at night, Neukölln is dominated by increasingly young, alternative, and international crowds. This is particularly evident in the northern section of the district where there are many bars, funky clubs, galleries and restaurants. There, the night never seems to end.
