If I had the option I would not give this hostel not even a star. This place is a disappointment. From stinky carpet that smell like garbage to disgusting kitchen this place is to be avoided at all costs. There is no wifi like is being advertised. I don't usually leave negative reviews, however this hostel lacks the very basic... More

I stayed at this hostel during my month abroad in Bremen. While it is inexpensive for the room itself, the hostel is very noisy and unclean. Our bathroom was not cleaned the entire month we stayed, and the kitchen is a disaster. Most of the staff is pleasant, but beware of the large German man working in the morning. He... More

For the price, it was ok. I was expecting high cleanliness standards though, and was disappointed. I found a HUGE hairball beside my bed, and the floors were stained. Until pretty late in the night there was a lot of noise, like a party going on in one of the adjacent rooms. The staff was very friendly, and the trendy... More

Well, it´s okay. I mean you´ll probably stay there just to sleep and not spend your day. It´s not as central as they say in their description. It´s not to far from the city center but it takes you a while to get there. The facilities were not really clean, the mattress was really thin and saggy. Friendly staff, free Wifi.... More

Even though it was not the most clean hostel that I've ever been, the staff was really helpful by giving us a lot of tips about what to see in Bremen. It is really close to the tram that runs to the city center. I would recommend The Grand Hostel Bremen if you're traveling in a tight budget.

Was there for 3 nights and it is probably one of the best hostels i've ever stayed at. The room was a great size for 6 people. Despite what other sites say, it is very easy to get from either the main train station or the city centre by two separate trams which go every 5-10 minutes for most of... More

First of all, getting to the hostel is a breeze; arriving at the airport jump on the No.6 tram and get off at Domsheide (7 stops) then jump on tram 2 which is going to Sebaldsbruck and get off at Ludwig-Quidde Strasse (9 stops). all in all, transfer time is approx 20-30 mins from the airport. In the tram the... More
