This hotel only gets better with time. The service is 5 stars and the restaurants are in my opinion the best in Hamburg.

First stayed here in 1979....standatds continue to get higher. The rooms are heaven ...get a lake view...the two restaurants on ground floor are world class even if expensive

If you are looking real classical hotel and ambiance this is the best choice in Hamburg... if you are not staying here, at least to have a tea or have drink at the lounge...deffenetly worth it.. japaniese rest breackfast or grill lots of choice..
Excellent service, dinner at the Haerlin and the afternoon tea are a delight and a must do. prime location - a grand hotel which is still a grand hotel but a modern version of it. Miss Meyer at reception and Mr. Winkel as Restaurant Manager...More
