Had a great business stay for two nights at the Atlantic Kempinski. Indeed a very beautiful hotel both from the outside as well as inside.
First night we had dinner in the hotel, which was very nice. The food was plentiful with lots of taste...More
Close to the station, Hop on Hop off bus, shops as well as restaurants. This hotel is designed in the style of a cruise liner with porthole lights in the corridors. The bar was an excellent place to relax and listen to the piano player....More

if you want to take your bicycle by public transport to the airport, no problem. Taking bikes on this train is no issue either -unless you travel during rushhour on a business day, when bikes are not allowed. Rushhour is considered 6 to 9 am and 4 to 6 pm.
Bikes do not require a seperate payment.
The train station closest to the hotel is the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). I guess 5 minutes by bike, 10 minutes if you push the bike.
Have fun in Hamburg. Its a great city.
