I chose Cab20 because I was on a budget. They had cheap rooms, and I had a small budget, what isn't perfect about that arrangement?

Initially I had assumed due to the cheapness of the rooms the quality of our stay would be incredibly lackluster, but I was (thankfully) disappointed.
The rooms were cheap because they were small, but that's the attraction of the hotel. The only issue with this is that they're prone to getting warm often, but if you open your room door this fixes the issue.
The entirety of the hotel was kept in impeccable condition - it was newly built so all of it's features and design was very modern. They had incredibly smart layout, with wristbands connected to your room so only those with wristbands have access to the interior of the hotel (The Bar is publicly accessible up until a certain time when the doors are only accessible by guests).
They have coffee and vending machines which you pay for using your wristband.
They have a communal lounge for guests to relax in, and a nice balcony with a smoking area for those inclined.
It was incredibly clean and sanitary, even in communal shower/bathroom areas (don't worry, the showers/bathrooms are private).
The people were incredibly friendly and welcoming, they made you feel very included and ultimately were the cherry on the cake.

If you're looking for a nice hotel to stay in, whether budget is the issue or not, I highly recommend Cab20. I couldn't have been happier with my stay in Hamburg, my only gripe is that it wasn't longer!

Enjoyed the thoughtfulness put into the common areas, the actual room 'key' and having a bar. I enjoyed the bluetooth feature in the cabins as well as the dimable lights. Did sleep well, with mostly only hearing doors close occasionally. Wish just a little more space and 2 sinks in the toilets on each floor. Tight squeeze and waiting to wash hands, not great. Shower room and the privacy of the showers was really nice. Maybe though a little additional raised portion on the floor to separate the shower area from changing area as there is not quite enough slope to keep water in shower area consistently heading to drain. Also... this may be the first shower in Germany/ Europe in a new build that has a fixed shower head, no hand held / adjustable height shower head. Which would also have helped in keeping water within shower side.
Sadly I booked very last minute on an apparently busy weekend because €109/night for single was not a value, especially when next 2 nights €130 in a hotel with bathroom in my room. Otherwise if traveling again and an option at or below €50, then I would.

Really nice pods/room, very well insulated and comfortable beds. However, the air flow in the room was slightly too low so it was quite stuffy in the morning. The shower area is was great with many showers and you get to borrow a bath robe, which was convenient. Would have been even better if you could borrow slippers! Only small details for improvement, overall very good. I was quite surprised the luggage storage after checking out costs extra, but as the place is cheap to stay I think it is reasonable.

The new Capsule Hotel experience was absolutely amazing, just few blocks behind
Hamburg main station few steps from St. George Platz Hamburg one can dive into youth and stylish atmosphere of the hotel. The rooms are well equiped for using WIFI, having good and comfortable
sleep. Everything is very clean, the common bathroom area is absolutely comfortable with a large number of well planned shellfs, dousche cabines. At the reception one can always get something for a hungry and thirsty minutes. There is a large number of very clean WC cabines practically few steps away for every room. Very freundly personal.

Nice, very modern hotel option in Hamburg. As a single traveler that just needed a room for a night in Hamburg, this was perfect. The rooms are bigger than what you may have seen in "capsule" style hotels, and do not make you feel caged in. There are restrooms on each floor, and large bathrooms with plenty of showers on the bottom floor (-1) . Hamburg Hauptbahnhof is around a 5-10 minute walk.

After looking for somewhere cheap and central in Hamburg and already having stayed in Cityhub in Copenhagen which is a similar concept, my boyfriend and I booked 4 nights in Cab20. Unfortunately it was no where near as good as Cityhub.
To start with the positives, the staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the cabin room was very clean. Also, the social loft space on the top floor was cosy and nice to chill out in.
However… the area the hostel is in is very dirty, unsafe and shady. If I were travelling alone as a woman, I would not feel safe there alone, and definitely not at night. In fact, we avoided coming back to the hostel too late for this reason.
Secondly, the room itself was poorly designed with virtually no room to fit any luggage, and to store in the lockers would cost €5 per day, lockers which weren’t even big enough for a large suitcase anyway. The floor space in the room was minuscule with no adequate shelving, just some type of rope ladder which was useless. There was air con in the room but it was so poorly ventilated that it would become so hot and stuffy in there we could not sleep and it was really unpleasant.
There is also only 2 toilets and 1 sink per floor which is strange… and also no big bins anywhere to discard our rubbish, or even recycling? Some bins in the hallway would have been very useful.
The vending machines were ok but what kind of place doesn’t offer bottles of water?
It is disappointing to give a bad review as the place has a lot of potential that unfortunately was not fulfilled. Small details make a big difference.
I would not stay here again unfortunately.

The hostel is super modern and clean and well kept. The staff was very helpful and gave us suggestions on what to do and were welcoming. Personally the rooms are very tight so not the best if you are traveling with luggage or need to stay several nights.

Hotel uses really innovative technology that makes checking in and your stay super stress free.

They have a bar downstairs and a roof terrace - both places are really good to meet other guests.

Restrooms on every floor, and separate shower blocks are in basement (men’s/females).

Staff are super helpful and on hand 24/7 to help with any questions.

Location is super close to the central train station, however I marked this down due to lots of groups of people that seemed to be standing round all day that might make some guests feel intimidated- we however had no issues during our stay.

Very pleased with the location of the place, but I'm afraid we were disapointed in the ventilation of the rooms, as it was air was very stale after spending a few hours in the room, and that it was so expensive to store extra luggage outside of the small rooms. The shower and toilet arrangements were satifactory. Sadly the staff was sometimes a bit rude and impatient.

Stayed here for two nights on a solo trip to Hamburg. The place has a fun concept, is clean and staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room I stayed in was very clean and comfortable, however I could hear the person staying in the room above walking up the stairs.

The amenities are clean and the system with the key bracelet works well. I wish there would have been storage for my bags in the room, I had to keep them on the bed while organising stuff. The area where the room is located is fairly rough and I didn’t feel that safe walking from the station at night. A suggestion could be to walk a different route from the central station in case you arrive back late at night.

Overall a pleasant experience!
