We recently stayed at the NewLivingHome and overall the experience was very good. The rooms are very large, ample parking, close proximity to the metro and easy to reach driving. The rooms were basic but comfortable, the kitchen area consisted of a hob and fridge, tvs in lounge and bedroom, ample space for storage etc, there were no tea and...

I just spent a weekend here and I really liked this place. I booked it on a very short notice because the price seemed right, it had a parking garage and it was very near the underground station. This place seems to be a large apartment building where most of the apartments are let for longer periods of time and...

Though being some sort of a hospital hotel (and a largely elderly clientele) this hotel offers spacious apartment rooms at a great price. Situated close to the Hagenbeck zoo and a u-bahn stop it is great for families looking for an affordable way to stay in Hamburg. The breakfast matches hotels of a far higher standard and is indeed a...

Our family of 4 (with 16 and 11 year old children) was thrilled to stumble upon this property as we were driving through Germany from France en route to Scandinavia. Front desk staff was English speaking and quite friendly, and we enjoyed the sauna and pool (no-one else there, what a treat!). The room itself is like a small apartment,...

Traveling to Hamburg as a group of three adults on short notice for the May 1 holiday weekend, we found it difficult to get a hotel room for the three of us at a reasonable price. The NewLivingHome offered an apartment with breakfast buffet included. It was only after we arrived that we discovered that this place builds on a...

Largely a retirement home, this is spacious with some good facilities. However the bedrooms are rather dark, they do not provide double beds, rather 2 beds pushed together, in a room which is really a self catering apartment. Breakfasts are good, although they become boring after a while. Food otherwise is average and the menu does not change often.

Nice functional apartment, good beds, nice staff and clean. U Bahn just across the Street and busstop in front of the hotel. If you stay more days buy a Hamburg Card and travel for free. Wifi connection was not good.

The location is perfect - the U entrance right next to the hotel, the trip from the center is about 15 minutes. This direction always was useful, everything we needed was on this branch. I loved the fact it was a nursing home, for me it was an additional attraction to have a peek to old German (rich) folk's lives.The...
