It's really cheap and it's very well located, right in the old town and the s bahn leaves you at the main station and airport. The single room was good for the price, but I just couldn't sleep... There was this constant buzzing going on that made me sleep horribly... So I changed to a double room. This one was perfect, and I slept perfectly.

This hotel is ideally placed for central Frankfurt and just now for the Christmas Markets. The hotel rooms are of ample size and the bedroom and shower room are very clean, and reception staff helpful in providing information about the city. As others have said, there are cafes and coffee bar very close to the hotel. The central position of the hotel, whilst being a significant advantage is also its greatest drawback since the noise from revellers goes on well into the night and is then followed virtually without a break by service deliveries, waste collections and during our stay by building works which started at 7am. We considered a room swap but the configuration of the hotel is such that all rooms overlook a street.

The hotel itself is just very normal and I stayed here during trade show time so it was much more over charged! But the staff here are really nice and helpful! And location is really a star! It is just on Zeil street. When you come out of Konstablewache station Zeil exit it is just on your right hand side. A lot of restaurants nearby and some of them are good ie. just the restaurant and bar named "Sober" next to Starbucks is a good German restaurant

The lady at the Counter. The Korean girl. She speaks perfect English and her German is perfect as well(heard it) and we talked to her in Korean. Thank you and Hello. She told us where to get Ciggs and also recommended places we can buy sim cards for our stay.(1 month). Helpful in every every way and we can definitely tell that it comes from the heart and her great personality and hospitality mind set. Good person to be interacting with the guest because she is the perfect person for that job. The cleaning ladies did not speak a lot of english but the service is so good. right at noon they come knocking and wanting to clean the rooms. They even folded our clothes that was left on the floor. Amazing. Smiled every time we saw them in the lobby. I traveled the world and know it really makes your day or your stay when the front desk and the staff is polite and serves you with a great and genuine smile. She is much better than some of the Group Chains like the Hilton and the Marriotts here in Germany.

Only good thing about the hotel is location. Located by the main shops.

From the outside the hotel looks fine. Arrival to reception was ok fairly clean.

Received key to room as there was 3 of us we knew one of the party was to sleep on a sofa bed (which was more like just a sofa) When entering the room there was a strange smell. The room did look like the walls and ceiling had been painted. However the carpet was just dirty, stains all over it. Splashes of paint where there hadn’t been clearly any sheets laid down and generally carpet was an eye sore. There was a
Kitchenette. Kettle, toaster. No plates and no mugs. Three glasses and one was definitely not clean. The worst was yet to come. Opened the fridge…… left over milk, juice, take out chicken and McDonald’s box which none of us wanted to open to experience what was inside. This could have been left from previous guests but who knows how long it had been there . Clearly the cleaner hadn’t checked on this, which then made us all doubt the cleanliness of the whole room. To be fair bed linen did look clean but didn’t give much assurance. Bathroom was ok. Shower surprisingly good but definitely not the best bathroom. Hair dryer didn’t have anything about it and overheated after about a minute.

Sleep value awful. Bed surprisingly comfy. But the noise from outside was horrific which led to dreadful sleep. It went on all night.

Such a shame as hotel location was brilliant and hotel cleanliness let itself down. I wouldn’t rush back.

I've never had such a dirty room. There were stains everywhere, there were dead mosquitoes in the bathroom and there was a strong smell of smoke everywhere. The toilet bowl was not installed and was next to the toilet. I would be ashamed to rent a room like that to my guests.

The hotel was so nice . It's location was 100% perfect as it was so close to metro station and shopping centres . The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful . Amazing and unforgettable experience. I will recommend it surely to everyone . And I will visit it again in the future if I ever travel to Germany (Frankfurt). The only disadvantage was it didn't provide any meal . Overall great Hotel .

We stayed at the hotel for 3 night, 4 of us went so we took two rooms, i have to say from the first minute we walked into the hotel receptionist had a bad attitude when we asked for two rooms on a same floor, hotel rooms are small, bathrooms are nice the actual room is old and very cheap looking aswell, when we went out one off the nights we where standing next to hotel, we where laughing talking it was late the oldder man receptionist was very annoyed that we woke him up and was actually confronting wich we found bizzare!! And that not all on saturday we decided to have a lay in the cleaner banged on a door like 3 different times! When i opened a door to her later on i was confronted by her sayng why we are still in a room she finishing her shift and needs to clean the room! She was so rude i was absolutely shocked! She asked why there is no do not disturb sign, but actually there was NEVER one in a room in a first place so she marched to another side of the hall took one and just shoved in my hand ! Absolutely horrible, managment in my opinion need to re train theyre staff on customer service!

Perfect Location, 2 mins walk to nearest U-Baan and S-Baan, Frankfurt's main shopping street is right behind. Starbucks is right below and McD is right across from it (for those having 2 weeks straight of european food... sometimes a few nuggets is not a bad idea for snacks.) Due to business trip, I was on a budget and this hotel turns out much much better than what I would expected for its price. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is traveling to Frankfurt and looking for a good place to stay with very reasonable price.

Some quick tips: It's is good and safe area, it's heart of Frankfurt! If you looking for cheap food, give the nearest metro station a visit; there are plenty of little restaurants at the metro and you pay about 30-50% of the price that restaurant would charge you for decent food. Also behind the Expo hotel, during the day time, there is open market right around the corner of the hotel, you can see what local citizens would normally buy and try out the food/beer(dont miss the beer!!)

You can not beat accommodations like this at a rate so low. Very clean, very upscale considering how low the price for a room is. I had an overnight layover in Frankfurt and wanted to see a little bit of the city. This hotel is in downtown surrounded by a shopping district. It is extremely close to subway/train transportation which runs 24/7. This is great for catching early morning flights. It was near a few bars to partake in some German brews.

If I ever stay in Frankfurt again, I would have no hesitation staying at this hotel again. You can not beat this place if you are on a budget and still want a private accommodations.

There is no airport shuttle. However there is an s-bahn station very close by and you can take the trains 8 and 9 directly to and from the airport (4.55 euro per person each way) there are some suspicious people hanging around the train station, but I have never had any problems with them

Does the EXPO hotel have a shuttle bus to the airport? If so, how much does it cost? Thanks.
