Hotel was in a good location. Our room was nice and quiet. The hotel had lovely architectural details. Parking was included and located on the hotel site. We walked two blocks to get to the south train station. Also only 2 blocks was a very good bakery for breakfast, if you don't want to have breakfast at the hotel (extra... More

Stayed there for a few days, and really enjoyed to have selected this hotel. It's none of the usual standard hotels, rather very individual and unique. Rooms are spaceous, you can expect to get good value for money, and staff are friendly and helpful - maybe some room for improvement on efficiency and speed, but in the end no reason... More

This hotel is in some ways like a museum. It is full of antiques has a wonderful old worldly feel. Not all rooms are en suite, but otherwise very comfortable. The breakfast room spills out onto a terrace and into a wonderful garden. An oasis in this residential area close to city and Sachsenhausen bar and restaurants cobble streets area.... More

I didn't make a reservation for this hotel. It was my husband's choice. He chose hotel am berg because of many good reviews. As we were walking up from S-Bahn station, I remembered myself thinking why we have to stay here? Hotel in the middle of nowhere. But after we checked in and I saw the room... Oh wow... It... More

Wasn't sure when I booked this hotel. Actually thought it had a haunting quality. Upon arriving Imwas absolutely delighted with the friendly greeting and offers to help, with our stay. It's old but has charm. The room was quaint but clean and the bed was soooo comfortable! The breakfast was presented in such a beautiful way. The fresh fruit was delivered... More

Well what a surprise this hotel was.....I booked it because I liked the Fawlty Toweresque exterior Located just a 10 minute walk from the lively Sachsenhausen bar and restaurant district Approx 20 by car from Frankfurt Airport, off street parking is available. Our room was enormous as was the bathroom, and a bargain at EUR 88.00 a night Fantastic breakfast... More

This bed and breakfast was a little surprise. I didn't know what to expect on our first night in Frankfurt but was pleasantly surprised. We had a room on one of the top floors and there is no elevator, but the staff offered over and over to bring our luggage up for us. We had a swanky room with a... More

This is how I imagine hotels used to be in the past before the large faceless chains took over the cities. Its a quaint hotel thats about a 10 minute bike ride from sachenhausen. I arrived late, so when I called to tell them , they arranged a quaint way of allowing me access to the hotel, which I will... More

I stayed one night in this hotel. It is nice, room was big, bathroom was modern and nice too. I had room with balcony, quick free wifi. There are no free plugs in the room so if you want to charge your phone, you must unolug either lamp, tv or minibar.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the property is fraying around the edges, but we felt that it contributed to the hotel's charm. Our room was on the first floor and was huge, with high ceilings and a bathroom large enough to have room for a couple of pieces of exercise equipment. It's location is in a quiet neighborhood that... More
