Better than the reviews had me expecting. Yes it is a modern, budget hotel with limited storage but clever use of space as suitcases fit under the bottom of the bed. Certainly more spacious than some hotel rooms I've stayed in. The room was cleaned with towels refreshed daily. The window opened. Surprised there was only 1 pillow and a single duvet on a double/king sized bed but it was single occupancy. Nice and bright, good breakfast choices and staff spoke good English and were helpful. It was about 10-15mins walk to the central train station and town centre.

The bathroom has shower gel/shampoo and handwash and a good hairdryer. So bring shampoo and conditioner. No kettle or fridge in the room.

The rooms are small but, comfortable and efficient. The common area is a great place to hang out after a day of meetings. We had for colleagues staying in Germany for a 8 days. We used the common area as our base of operation. The staff was extremely friendly.

Let me start by writing that the service in the hotel is really 0 stars. So dissppointed.

The room and the decor is really a breath of fresh air. So nice with all the colours. The room is a good size. Also the bathroom is nice. Lots of room but the so called waterfall shower should be fixed. It was leaking so not enough water coming out.
When you give a free drink because the room does not get cleaned everyday you should make sure there are enough handsoap, showergel and toiletpaper. You can ask the reception for more if neaded but they never give you any.

There are a lot of noise in the room from people next door, people having meetings at night in the hallway(usually from midnight till 1.30 at night) and a really loud aircon(and it was never turned on, so dont know why it made such a loud noise.

I stayed there as part of a roadtrip for 3 nights and I do find it in a good location. I got way over 10000 steps a day.

My first impressions, when I walked into my room was that this would be what minimum security prison looks like! This might be a bit harsh, but the rooms are very small with minimal decoration, but quite a nice colour scheme. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly. Not my sort of hotel, but it did the job and was 55 euros so no complaints!

Good standard business hotel for a very reasonable price. Rooms are nice but of course very basic and small. If you’re not a fan of yellow - don’t book ;-)

There’s no restaurant, mini bar, spa or anything. Just the bare minimum - but that on a good standard. It’s not where you go for holidays or city trips - it’s what you book for business trips imo...

Hi Tereza2805! Thank you for taking some time aside & sharing your impressions here with us! 😊😊😊 It's true that our rooms aren't the biggest.. neither are our prices. On 16 sqm you'll find a lot of equipment though, like our big double bed, the 42 inch Apple TV, underfloor heating and the music lamp. Air conditioning and free high-speed WIFI are also a matter of course with us! ..and the hearts of our team members are all the bigger! ❤️ If there's anything we can do next time to make you feel more comfortable, please let us know and we'll do our best to make you happy! 🥰 We're a 2** Economy Hotel and strive to give our guests a comfortable & affordable home away from home. Be it on a business trip, a city trip or if you just felt like visiting us! 😊 We're happy to be there for you, no matter what it's about. Just let us know. ❤️ We'd love to see you again sometime! Wishing you a beautiful weekend ☀️, your team prizeotel

I stayed one night at this hotel on a business trip. The website gives you the impression that you will be staying at some modernistic hotel, and you reservation says "designzimmer"

Although the entrance has a pleasant co-working space and it is fun to hang out there, the rooms are somewhat spartan and not better than an IBIS for example

Breakfast is good , the price quality ratio is OK and the staff was friendly. The neighborhood was a bit gray.

Hi MrLoo! Our colourful design is, of course, a matter of taste, but behind our furnishings, there is a clear, well-thought-out concept: international design at an affordable price - for everyone - anyone who wants a relaxing stay in a unique ambience and at reasonable prices. We are a budget hotel, but that doesn't mean that we are "simple". Quality, service and an unusual ambience are what make prizeotel special - and all this in a unique, innovative way with an unmistakable design. Karim Rashid has deliberately furnished our prizeotels individually and stylishly. We think that he has succeeded very well. After all, we are a budget-design hotel - and where design is written on, design should also be part of it. 😉 We are a 2** Economy Hotel. In our rooms, you will find - measured by that - a lot of equipment like our big double bed, the 42 inch Apple TV, the music lamp and the floor heating in the bathroom. Air conditioning and free high-speed WIFI are also a matter of course with us. This is by no means the case in every 2** hotel. This is our standard! ..and if there's anything we can do next time, to make you feel perfectly comfortable with us, please don't hesitate to let us know and we'll do our best to make you happy! 🥰 We hope you had a great time in Hannover and thank you for your feedback! 😊 Come visit us again sometime! 😊 Wishing you a great weekend, your team prizeotel

Ok, it is a 2 star hotel but providing warm water in the bathroom should be a standard:
Me as well as my colleagues had cold water or even no water supply in the bathroom in the morning!

This obviously didn’t bother the staff since the problem re-occurred more than once.
Talking about staff, they are usually unfriendly in they address guests (e.g. addressing guests universally by ‘du’ whether appropriate or not).
All they are after is to get the room number during breakfast time - that’s what interaction is limited to.

Lastly, in days where concerns about the environment are prominent, on Prizeotel’s breakfast buffet basically everything possible comes wrapped in plastic in individual portions. No environmental considerations whatsoever.

If Hanover wasn’t popular because of its trade fairs, surely this hotel would be under pressure.

Hello Paul, thank you for staying with us during your trip to Hanover and for sharing your feedback. Even though we wish you've had a better experience visiting our hotel... we're very sorry to hear that you've not been satisfied with us. The bathroom water is hot again and the problem solved - big sorry again for that! The 'Du' is part of our concept. But it's perfectly fine if not everyone likes it. We are happy to switch back to 'Sie' without any problem, if someone gives us a hint. A much more important part of our concept than the 'Du' is that we do everything we can to make every guest feel at home with us. We have often thought about our packaging sizes and the resulting garbage, and as a team we have considered how we could change that and we've already changed some things. With some other things we "unfortunately" have always come to the conclusion that we leave it as it is - for the sake of hygiene and thus for the sake of our guests. Hopefully you've still had a good time in Hanover. Have a good day & a nice start into the new year, your team prizeotel

I have been accommodated at prizeotel last month, for 3 nights. The hotel is located at walking distance from the central station and has a funky design, in bright colors, giving a youth feeling to any guest, disregarding the age.
The rooms are on the smaller size, but adequate and clean. They feature a flat screen TV, a musicLamp with radio integrated, bathroom with a decent size shower and floor warming system. Breakfast is ok also, you have some choices for a good start of the day.
All in all, a basic hotel with an interesting modern design, suitable for any short trip to Hannover.
