My brother and I came across this family run hotel by accident. It was getting dark and we had no clues to where we were going to stay. Lucky for us, the owner was leaving the hotel for the night and turned around to get us a room. Cute, old world place......small as you would expect in a building hundreds...

We opted for this hotel due to its proximity to the Dom (cathedral), yet we were amazed by how well run it was. An older couple ran this place, it has 8 rooms in 3 floors. The room was very nice, has an authentic rustic feeling to it. The owners must like decorations, since everwhere we looked, there were dolls,...

I stayed in a single room at the Hotel Brulls am Dom in August. The hotel is perfectly located - very close to the town hall and the cathedral and in amongst all the beautiful cobbled pedestrian streets. My room was quite small, but clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was there during a wine festival so there...

Stayed in Brulls am Dom for two nights in June with a friend. Struggled to book a room as the hotel does not have any email and you need to book via phone -- note that they do not speak English, only German! Hotel is in an excellent location in old town, very close to everything you would want to...

I've stayed at many of Aachen's business hotels and tried the Hotel Brulls for a change of pace. The hotel is located just off the market square and is easy walking distance to many restaurants and pubs, including the Dom Keller two doors to the right and College Station a few doors to the left. The hostess was very kind...

Stayd here for business at the beginning of December. Absolutely charming old-fashioned hotel, which had everything I needed (except the kettle). The breakfast was a rare surprice: being served to the table was very convenient and the fresh boiled eggs even had the greeting "Guten Morgen" written into. I really felt cared for. Collegues stayed at a typical chain hotel,...

Myself and my wife are just back from a 3 day visit to the Christmas markets in Aachen staying in the beautiful quaint cosy Hotel Brulls Am Dom. If traditional German hospitality and lodgings are what you are looking for then look no further than the Brulls. The breakfast is just amazing I assure you you wont leave the table...

A wonderful hotel that is full of old-world charm. The breakfast is the best we had in Europe and extremely memorable. Frau Brulls is extremely charming and makes you feel like family. Located at the heart of Aachen, it is the only place we would choose to stay when we return.

I booked this fab find through Aachen Tourist Information Centre. Couldn't get any closer to the Cathedral and the hotel was a step back in time experience. I loved everything about this hotel. You must try it.
