Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel is good for our family. Simple and clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly stuff. Location is good when you travel with car, highway is near, but still hotel is quiet. Short distance to walk to city centre.

A good hotel out of the city center but great for someone looking for just one night of good sleep. Free parking and a fast check-in.

Another good point: if you're looking to go on the Lindt factory shop, this is a good hotel. It's close and easy to reach the shop.

This hotel is part of a cut price chain and is fantastic value for money, I have stayed at this hotel annually now for 5 years and it is fantastic value for money and very easy checkin/check out. Local enough to many restaurants and Aachen town itself is a short taxi ride away - the equestrian centre is only a 10 minute walk up the road, not as near as the Holiday Inn but a third the price ... only down fall .... no bar !!!!!

I stayed for 7 nights in this hotel. I was glad when I found this hotel in the internet. The price looked good as well as the room pictures.

I arrived at the hotel when the reception is closed but I got my room access from the auto check in machine.

And just like the pictures I saw online, the room was clean and tidy. Looks like the hotel was just renovated some time ago if not well maintained. The shower looked new.

Wifi was good, fast enough to play your online games and streaming videos. Breakfast buffet was nice. They had bread, cereals, ham, salami, egg, fruits, jams, nutella, coffee, milk, orange juice etc.

However, it is located a little bit outside the city. So depending on what time you leave, it can take half an hour to get to the city (include 200meters walk to the bus stop and waiting for the bus). I found another ibis budget hotel in the middle of the city right accross the bus station. But had I stayed there, it would had been more noisy. I don't mind walking a distance for a quiet sleep at night.

And if you really want it to be quiet, ask for a room that is not facing the road. It's not like the road in front of the hotel was a busy one at night (there were only 3-4 cars passing each minute at night) but if you're sensitive to noises, that'll add some comfort.

I didn't see many people manning this hotel other than the reception and someone who cleaned the rooms. Anyway, they're all friendly and helpful. They also speak english.

Oh and another awesome thing is that the room had 4 electric sockets. I didn't have to use my cord extend to charge my devices.

So if you're looking for a comfortability with affordable price and peaceful evening, I definitely recommend this hotel.

Park your car at the hotel and walk about 200 meters to the busstop of the number 51 bus who brings you in about 10 minutes to the citycenter of Aachen.
From the Bushof that is the last stop of the 51 line you walk about 200 meters to Elisenbrunnen.

As the name suggests, this isn't a fancy hotel. We just needed somewhere to stop for the night on the way to Bavaria. The hotel is just off the autobahn and just a short drive from a few restaurants and shops. The rooms were simple but included everything we needed. For the price this was a good option. The breakfast was worth the Euro6.90 charged and staff were very pleasant.

Five stars, for value for money. The room is simple, clean and comfortable. We didn't know it still existed, a bed room for smokers, but it does and made my friend's stay. If you need a smoke, you need a smoke; right? The staff was super friendly, which is great, because I am not a big fan of this self check-in idea. I need a friendly "Gutentag" from a human to get in holiday spirit. Looking back, we would have picked a different hotel, closer to the city centre and Aachen's night life. So if you are looking for something in more lively environment (paaaarty ohne ende!), don't go to this hotel. But, if it is just for a night, just a stop on the way, I can fully recommend it.
