The staff are great, friendly and helpful. All of them. The location is central. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms are clean, well equipped and spacious enough. The wifi is cheap and fast. What more do you want?

This is a pretty standard hotel for Germany, it's conveniently located and I found it easily walking from the train station. Staff were friendly and my room was large and had everything I needed (including tea/coffee which you don't always get in my experience). Breakfast was fine (meat, cheese, coffee etc) though nothing special. No complaints!

Bonn seems to have many little hotels, with small frontages but labyrinthine corridors that spread around several properties. This one is better than most. There's a quiet funkiness, with art posters on the walls and neat rooms with the absolute basic of what is essential. The location is just outside the "old" city, but is actually in a wonderful neighbourhood of small streets, specialist boutiques and small bars. Pity about the charge for the internet.

My husband and I stayed three nights in Bonn and had a wonderful time. The location of the hotel is great: it takes 5 minutes’ walk only to the old city centre. The museums (Museumsmeile) can be reached by 40minutes walk or by subway for a few minutes.
Our room was clean and of very good size; it had even a little kitchenette with sink, plates and minibar. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linen. Most of the staff speaks good English and we were very grateful for that. The breakfast was a delight. As a whole everything is at hand – you just can enjoy the stay in Bonn.
If you have a car it a good idea to book a parking place in advance as there is room for 5 cars only. We paid €7 per night.
Regarding the food in Bonn – you can find the typical German sausages everywhere in central part of the city. As we didn’t find many restaurants in the centre we had lunch twice in pizza Hut which was always very busy. Later on we discovered a few restaurants around the hotel but had no time to explore them… so maybe on our next trip to Bonn.

Here you have, for family reason I had to go to Bonn (Germany). I was looking for a nice and central accomodation (in AltStadt - Old City) and, by chance, I found this charmy and family run hotel.
Despite the decoration that definitly is german I really appreciated the effort the hotel team put in order to make my short stay enjoyable.
It is always a matter of few aspects that make all special. First of all I enjoyed the GENUINE smile at my arrival, I was impressed by the effort from the owner to find me a parking place near the hotel (he even proposed me to park my car.. did he undestood that I am not a such us good driver???) - the room very nice and clean, a huge bathroom and nice decorations. Just little point (now air conditioning at the 3rd floor, please choose rooms at yard side with no direct sun exposure. A typical huge german breakfast made my day, and small candyes offered at my leave ware highly appreciated (gnam gnam). As Summary:
- No big structure hotel, no chain hotel,
- great charmy area,
- good value
- a real family feeling.

I've stayed at Hotel Aigner probably six times in the past six years--in other words, every time I go to Bonn--for weeks at a time. It's a family-owned place on a lovely old street just a couple of blocks from the bustle of the center of town--and even closer to the tram stop. Because it's in a real neighborhood, the visitor gets to see something of real life. And because it's so close to the center, there's a wide variety of restaurants within easy walking distance.

It's an unassuming little place situated in two old houses, with an incredibly helpful staff and a delicious, bountiful breakfast. Wi-fi is cheap, and parking is available. Bikes too.

Central location, quiet, nice and simple place. Stuff is ok, but not too much concerned about you. We had a kitchenette with additional small bed, I wouldn’t like to sleep on this bed if I was the 3rd person. The furniture is in good condition, but looks 30 years old.

The last 4 stars review of this hotel was early this year so this hotel is long due for another good review.

The staff were very responsive to my emails. I originally booked a standard double bedroom with a cot. After reading about the room being small on tripadvisor, I decided to pay about 10 euro extra to have a single bed for my toddler. Small room is perfectly fine as a couple but things double with a toddler. ;) To my surprise, we were put in a family room, where there is a single bed in a separate room. Plenty of space to store luggages, pram etc. It also has a small kitchen and fridge in that single bed room. The best of all is the parking spot. No other hotels in the city centre could guarantee me a parking spot upon arrival despite me willing to pay for the hefty hotel parking fee. This is rather strange to me as i thought each hotel would know how many parking spots they have reserved in a nearby parking garage! Hotel Aigner said they could give me a spot after checking the availability of the dates of stay. That pretty much set for us to stay here and their parking fee was very reasonable. While others have to park at a nearby garage, the staff was very accommodating by giving us a spot (very limited) at the back of the hotel property as they knew traveling with a toddler meant a lot of luggages etc.

The breakfast area is bit small. It served traditional german breakfast. Reasonable variety. They offered free machine made coffees (a plus as some hotels charge extra for that). Very close to the centre of Bonn -- old town area.

The room is typical european. Not new but adequate. No AC so might be an issue on a hot day in the summer. Floor is a bit thin as we could hear music and noise from upstair but we were lucky that people were considerate after certain time. The bathroom fan isn't working so it does smell a bit. Because we booked it through email, we didn't get free complimentary public transport ticket that is normally included with the online booking. Overall, i give it 4 stars.

Stayed here twice in the last couple of years. Centrally located in an area with many restaurants. Rooms clean. Good buffet breakfast with a wide range of cold meats, cheeses, fruits and yoghurts. Will stay here again.
