This is a extend stay hotel. The building itself is fairly ugly -- it looks like a university dorm. The rooms were OK though spartan. My room had a kitchenette unit, with sink, stove, and a small refrigerator. There are laundry machines on site, which you can use for a fee.

Although this hotel is not in the center of Bonn, the location turned out to be pretty convenient. It is a short walk to a subway station which leads right into Bonn. There is supermarket located right next to this station, so I had no trouble provisioning myself.

Stayed two nights on third floor. Room was of good size with reasonable sized bathroom. Facilities in the room included LCD TV, safe, bar fridge, hot plate and cutlery. Staff were helpful and spoke excellent German and good English. Only problem was that there was no elevator. Hotel is located in apartment block a short walk from U-Bahn station Tannenbusch Mitte (U66).

If you are staying in Bonn for more than 6 days and on a budget this might be a good option. They charge you around EUR 56 without breakfast.
Positives:
1. Free internet vouchers; no extra charges. Many other hotels charge me extra for the same.
2. Just 3-4 minutes away from the Tannenbusch Mitte Station. You can reach Bonn HBF in minutes and Koln Hbf (Dom) is about 45 mins.
3. Rooms are good with some provision for cooking, (which is rare in hotels here) and they are not very small as compared to some other hotels i stayed in.
4. Quiet location
5. The staff is overall very polite and kind.
Negative:
1. The location is not so great; 'perceived' not to be very safe (poor immigrants etc?). Although, i had no troubles personally. There's not much to do around here. You will have to take the train to get to any place decent to hang out or for shopping. Although it will just cost about 1.80 EUR for a one way ticket to Bonn Hbf. So it's compromise.
2. I would have liked tea/coffee in my room. Wasn't there.

Room Tip: Rooms on the ground floor are nice. I could walk into a nice little garden at the back of my room.

I stayed there for two nights. I must say I do not know how much the room costs as I was there for business. Well, I do not think the room and facilities live up to the business traveller expectations.
The room was big but the furniture was so hopelessly German and the bed was much too smaal (one single bed). I do not know who installed the shower head. It was tucked in into the corner so I had to stand in the shower in the very uncomfortable position. It was also a hussle to get the water temperature right (too hot or too cold).
There is no possibility for dinner in the evening. The only restaurant is a kilometer away.

I would not like to stay there again.

No good espresso in the monring (just a coffee from a thermos jug!

My mother and I stayed here while visiting Bonn in February. The service personnel were extremely helpful and spoke very good English. We felt like we were staying "at home" vs. staying in a hotel. The parking garage is secured with your key to get in and out. And you can enter your building directly from the garage. I have not felt more safe anywhere else we have stayed. I was amazed at the comfort and security we felt for such a low price.

I have stayed at this hotel alone and with family, and was equally very happy. They do offer a kitchentte which means you can make your own meals if you feel like eating a home cooked meal away from home!

I was looking for a moderate price hotel not too far from the city center and I ended up finding this place. It was a reasonable price (82 euro per night, incl breakfast). The hotel itself looked quite average, I dislike multiple entries and would prefer not to go through outside every time I needed something at the reception. It also feels safer.
What I didn't like was the environment. The closest restaurants are located quite far away and the whole neighborhood feels little unsafe (I really didn't appreciate arriving during dark time here). The hotel also have some other little flaws which annoyed me quite a bit, like quite slow internet connection with coupons about which I found out about by accident (nobody at the reception told me that I may want to request some coupon and from the website which pops up after connecting to wireless, it looked like you have to pay) and some of the receptionists didn't really speak much english, which was annoying especially when I wanted to order taxi for airport for early in the morning, I was dreaded that the 'operation taxi' will fail, honestly.

But let's go for the pros, the hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and it's well connected with the city center (approx. eight minutes by train). If you need a place just to sleep over, it's a reasonable choice.

I have stayed 10 days here, my room was very spacious. As I stayed quite long, I enjoyed the built-in kitchen corner. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the U-Bahn station. There's Wifi, however it is not free of charge. There's a do it yourself laundry service, for reasonable price.

Stayed in the Acora Bonn for 4 days in October 2007 on a business trip.

The hotel is situated in a residential area and quite a distance away from the centre. However, there is a small shopping mall and a metro station (Tannenbusch Mitte) about 200m away. Trains from this station go to the centre of Bonn and Cologne (50 minutes ride).

The room (#2002) was decent and quiet. Amenities in the room were about the same as those you would find in an Ibis hotel. The bed was comfortable, and shower was good after I figured out how to operate the water heater. There's a kitchenette inside a cupboard and you could do some light cooking.

I liked the free secured parking in the basement and stairs lead you directly to your block from the basement.

Check in/out was quick and breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was quite good.
