Hotel Görres is a Family run Hotel/Restaurant. We did stay for 2 nights and we were very happy with the very spacy room. We did had a room on the top (3th) floor. We did did had only 1 towel in the room and will we had dinner the friendly staff did bring a complete extra set to the room.
The dinner in was very well, like we did ate at home! and for a nice price also. The choice it not very extensive but with a very good quality.
Also breakfast is very good and with a big variety to choose from. All of the staff is willing to help, so the overall impresion is very positive.
The only thing is the closing mechanism of the room doors. Because of this mechanism the doors are slamming and ..... still ar not closed! This is something to look after.

We stayed here as part of our Leger tour on 21st June 2013.

We stayed for 1 night. It was pleasant enough, room was nice, just a little dated. We were over looking the road, but it wasn't to noisy. Nice big windows to open.

Food was quite nice too.

Nothing much around there, but nice garden with huge fishpond.

A nice stay for the night.

We stayed here on a 3 night break for the Christmas markets. It was clean and nicely presented. The bar is welcoming and reasonably priced.
Our maim issue was the food, it was awful, quite inedible and we ended up bringing in sandwiches to eat in our room.
The majority of the staff were lovely but the hotel manager/owner could seriously do with a course in customer service

Nice hotel with a decent double room, separate twin beds that can be pushed together if needed. Pity they don't supply free toiletries soaps hairdryer. The local phone book in the room was slightly out of date .... 2010 which was almost in perfect condition

We stayed at the Gorran Hotel for 3 nights as a Base for touring the middle Rhineland on a Newmarket Holidays short break.
Arrival at 10.30pm was no problem, room keys ready and within 10 minutes we were all in the charming hotel bar that served welcoming cold beer and schnapps.
Rooms were excellent, of different sizes all had reasonable views of the village, very clean and comfortable beds, powerful big shower and lovely fluffy towels.
We only ate there in the evening once, food was delicious, huge portions, very quick service from the family run kitchen. Breakfast was also of a very high standard, with plenty of choice of cold meats, cheese, fruit and eggs in a lovely breakfast room overlooking the garden.
Garden was delightful with plenty of tables, chairs and umbrellas, a huge fishpond, play area for kids and quiet.
All in all a lovely 3 star hotel, very well run, well appointed and only 15th miles from Bonn and the Rhineland valleys.
Would highly recommend it for a short break, but be warned there is absolutely nothing to do in the village other than long walks.

We spent 3 very comfortable nights here over Easter. The room was spacious and airy. The towels were a bit scratchy, but, everything else was great. Breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice. We had a very pleasant bar snack one evening, lots of food with a gorgeous fresh salad, but, the mushroom omelette was a little disappointing, only because the mushrooms were tinned and very "briny". Lovely quiet location and a good pizza takeaway in the village!!!

I visited this place with boy friend for four days and enjoyed a lot. Everything is prefect here and just in a way that we both like. Warm welcome by the lovely staff in the late night hours was impressive. Décor of the building, quality of services, food, rooms, everything was excellent. We loved it and will definitely recommend others to visit this place once.

A one night stop on a Leger Trip. Their publicity spells it Hotel Gorres so a bit difficult to identify. The Hotel has been family owned for a century and is excellent value for money with good food and service. Rooms vary in size, ours was spacious, with all new furniture & adequate storage. We had to get extra pillows because theirs were fluffy but useless for the purposes of supporting ones tired old neck.

They have skittle alleys and a nice beer garden where the goldfish are prolific with some the size of Jaws. The village is small but pretty. The Parish Church (opposite) houses the most beautiful family graves which are clearly tended by people who know their flower arrangements. You can also spot the grave of Heinrich Bartels - a hard drinking WW2 fighter ace & Holder of The Knights Cross.

The Hotel is south of Bonn near Bad Godesberg in the village of Wachtberg-Villip

3 night trip, arrived late Friday night and left very early Monday morning.
Check in a bit chaotic as the hotel had provided a hot buffet for the the coach passengers and wanted us to go and eat straight away, presumably then the kitchen could close and the staff finish their shift.
Rooms more than adequate but lacking a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities.
Had read previous comments so took them along with a Hairdryer but one was supplied in the bathroom.
Beds clean and comfortable, room nice and warm, towels soft and smelt clean and fresh.
Bar small but very welcoming with prices very reasonable 🍷🍺
For me the only real complaint was the food, lukewarm at best and ran out of things before everyone had eaten, so if you were at the back of the queue choice could be limited, unfair when you have all paid the same, as the saying goes... Once it’s gone, it’s gone !!
Choice also limited and I have to say not very tasty 😞😞
Overall a decent stay, but probably wouldn’t go back.

We weree looking for a nice rural hotel in the vicinity of Bonn.
This ticks all the boxes. Quiet village, good german quality and very friendly. A good german cooking with honest portions ( We were there in the Asparagus season.. fantastic)
Good rooms on the garden side with a lot of space and a real balconny. These rooms are very suitable for longer stay
