We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was lovely and clean and spacious. Breakfast was great and the staff were wonderful! The only down side was the awful noise all through the night from drunken teens staying above us. They weren't asked to quieten down either. Very very irritating!!

Fabulous rooms with views, large windows and roomy bathrooms. No need to share rooms, or duck under bunks in this place. Conveniently located near the Rhein for a gentle stroll into the city, or to a light rail track. The one drawback is the food. Avoid paying for dinner whatever you do - it is practically inedible. Breakfast is the...

This is a clean and well run hostel, however for me it wasn't great. It's a classic German youth hostel, youth meaning kids on school trips etc. It's in the middle of nowhere with nothing close by. The metro is short hop to Cologne central but even there nothing much happens. My advice, skip Cologne and head straight to Hamburg....

Nice clean hostel. Bed linen provided but you have to make the beds yourself. Towels come with a charge. Had dinner for 2 Adults and 2 children for €25, not bad value. Big negative is WiFi - it's not free - not available in rooms - charged at €1.50 per hour in the common areas. Have stayed in 4 other...

Stayed for 4 nights, - need to bring your own toiletries, - a towel charge €1.50 per visit, - they give you a bed sheet and a pillow cover and I need to make my own bed. - small bath room - insects all over the wall if you open your window at night time but if you did not...

Very nice and clean rooms, better than most low budget hotels. Everything needed was available. The only negative point was that the price for Wifi was too high. Breakfast was good enough, the quality of the products weren't great but we had everything we needed.

It was very clean. Large rooms and probably better than most budget hotels. Bed was comfortable. Occasionally lots of kids running around but that's OK during the day. Not the most convenient if you don't have a car but those who are active found it pretty nice to jog to the cathedral in the morning.

Stayed here on a school trip. Found it to be very clean and modern, and my room was plenty big enough for the four of us sharing it. We had a coach that took us from the hostel to the city centre and back whilst we were there so getting around was no problem, but it did feel a little...

Two weeks ago I was with my host classes of the structure. Spaces large and newly renovated. almost excellent cleansing, shame about the rudeness from the staff entrance which claimed to make us dinner at times improbable due to the overcrowding of the hostel. In their time they forgot one of our reservation and when we asked about this they...

I organised a Year 8 trip (12-13 year olds) to those hostel and can honestly say that it is a fantastic place to stay. The kids were all provided with clean and comfortable dorms, which is a real must for organising this sort of trip. All meals had a really good selection of foods, which is clearly replenished frequently. The...
