as fine the vegetables it came with could have been with a little less cooking though but was enjoyable, we also had cordon bleu (was a bit dry), the zigeunerschnitzel (nice) & potato soup (ok) The Fresh baked rolls with dip (complimentary) were a nice touch and yummy, wine on the expensive side but food price point ok! Really nice... More

Kind of difficult to explain. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, our room had a beautiful view to the river. But we were not put in the hotel itself but in a flock of apartments nearby. The room was spacious and clean with cable tv and wi-fi. But the entrance was a shock. We couldn't believe... More

We got an amazing price for our twin room at this low budget hotel by the Rhein. The decor is a little tired but the rooms and facilities are clean, and the staff are super-friendly. The hotel is 1 minute from the river, 3 minutes from the Altmarkt and 5 minutes from the magnificent Cathedral. What more could you want?

The hotel was in a really great location on a cute street with bars and restaurants. We went to this great Thai place a few doors down. The rooms were spacious although outdated. The staff were welcoming and friendly. However the lift was horribly small and scary so if you don't like lifts be prepared to take the stairs.

After being ushered from the street whilst on our weeks holiday away to Cologne, we sat outside and waited an age for the "waiter" (man in ordinary scruffy clothes) to take our order. We ordered the Carbonara and the Spare Ribs, and after another 30 mins it finally arrived. The food was TERRIBLE to say the least! I was so... More

The restaurant is off the Rhine promenade. The food, spare ribs, was OK. Lots of ribs but a little over cooked for my liking. Not burnt but too soft as if stewed. Service was OK as well and friendly. Nice location on a pleasant day.

We stayed here in October, there were five of us, we had a triple and a double room, the rooms were basic, but perfect for a three day stay, they were cleaned on a daily basis, our room (the triple ) was to the front of the hotel and the view was gorgeous, food looked great in the hotel, we... 3 Star Hotel in the old city of Cologne on the Rhein river bank, steps away from the Cologne Cathedral Dom, and steps away from the railway bridge that crosses towards the exhibition grounds "Messe". Clean and nioce size rooms located above a Rhein river restaurant, good food and good atmosphere. Right besides the Rheinr River cruises. Ideal for enjoying... More

I stayed there on a business tip. The room was clean. The wifi was crap at first then after the power outage it was great. There was a continuous babble from the nearby restaurants. Staff were polite but busy.

Unbealivable but the room was quite and very confortable, despite of being so central. Staff were nice and breakfasf ok. But oh my god!! the lift is a real experience from the 70´s, don´t forget to use it!
