The rooms are very well appointed, nice furniture and fixtures tastefully put together. Good size as well. I had a lovely greeting from the staff, the gentleman explained the local area and some places he liked. The downside, it's currently undergoing renovations which are noisy and there is scaffolding on the building, meaning you see workers out side you window....

Beautiful room. Bathroom needs upgrading but everything else was stunning. Stairs mightn't suit elderly clientele. It's an apartment set up so didn't feel like a hotel really, and towards end of our stay I nearly felt like I lived there.

This is a nicely appointed central hotel with good little kitchenette, comfortable beds and pleasant bathrooms. If you arrive outside desk office hours you'll need to call them for a code to get your key. You're basically staying a bedsit apartment with stylish/arty furnishings and pictures. Rooms serviced daily. All in a pleasantly old building. Do take earplugs for the...

Stayed here for a night. As I'm traveling frequently there's a little tiredness of all these standard hotels in cities with long dark aisles, standard furniture and streamlined pseudo friendly service. I found Marsil to be nice niche hotel for travelers like me, looking for the little extra: Real photographies and art work from the owners (have their artist office...

I visited this hotel on December, 17th. Apparently, this was not the best time to evaluate hotel as a whole as there were reparation works in progress. However, guys at reception were extremely friendly and helped me with all the problems I encountered that day: found a charger for my mobile and delivered my extremely heavy suitcase to 4rth floor!...

Firstly: It is not a hotel so don't expect one. Secondly: It is not mainstream. You do need to enjoy individual taste, a love for detail and a unique character. Thirdly: It is the best place to stay in munich if you can deal with the above. Rooms are lovely the guys running the place are as loveley as their...

I was looking for a nice hotel in Cologne and tumbled on their website. Everything looked great, beautiful rooms, nice website. But when I arrived there, the rooms looked really shabby, were very noisy and the staff was completely unfriendly and not professional at all. I found it very expensive for such a cheaplooking hotel with no comfort at all...

This may sound a little overstated, but unfortunately it is the truth. I am an experienced traveler, and I had the worst hotel experience at the Marsil Hotel. Let me explain : When my friend and I arrived at the Marsil with a written booking confirmation, we were told that the hotel was fully booked and that the staff had...
