I stayed at this hostel for 2 nights. Dusseldorf itself is not a tourist city, so I understand this hostel is not like some hostel in some big cities like Amsterdam or Paris. Nevertheless, the facilities is good enough for me during my business trip. Pros : Computer with internet connection for guest Guests was very diverse and quiet (at... More

This hostel was really nice. It was my first time travelling anywhere alone, so I didn't go out a whole lot, spent most of my time on my laptop in the hostel common area. Free breakfast was great and the staff are helpful. Extremely hot in the rooms in summer, couldn't get much sleep one night due to the room... More

Dear Marty, thanks for your review. You mentioned the opening hours for the kitchen and the need of a fridge during the night. Maybe you remember the red cubic thing in the common area. This IS the fridge for guests who need something at night. You forgot to mention that we tried to lower the heat in the rooms during... More

My travelling companion and I started our Interrail trip in Dusseldorf due to cheap flights. I think when staying in any hostel you have to remember that you are essentially just paying for somewhere to sleep and shower so anything additional should be considered a plus. We booked one night at the Backpackers Dusseldorf hostel through hostelworld.com for the 10th... More

My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights in a six bed mixed dorm. During our stay there was a festival on in town. There was a large group from somewhere else in Germany who had come to work at the festival. We found they came home late each night and we're really noisy, jumping off beds and slamming doors. Tgey... More

Have stayed here several times during my stay in Düsseldorf. Definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed at. Super friendly staff and very good location, can definitely recommend this location for others! Always clean and well taken care of, nice hostel atmosphere. 😊

The Place was great staff were very friendly and very helpful. Was very clean as well with all the facilities kept very tidy. Only 15 min walk to main train station providing a great access to nearby cities. We stayed in a 6 person dorm which was very comfortable. However, We had one room mate who would return at all... As per the previous review I have to first say the hostel was great, it was warm & comfortable, clean and close to transport links, no complaints what so ever! The girl behind the desk was very helpful and even offered ear plugs free of charge (which I needed). My only negative was one of the guests in the room,... More

I concur with the review below. The hostel is in a great location and facilities were good value for money. Unfortunately, our group had a rowdy Lithuanian girl in our room who disturbed our piece at around 4am every morning. One night she decided to throw noodles on one of my friends, as he slept. However, this is not the... More

I stayed as part of a group, visiting the city and the usual sights etc. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm, it was clean with plenty space and the beds were quite comfortable. Showers, common areas etc also seemed to be kept clean - plenty of hot water too. When we checked in, the service was very good and... More
