With 'pünklichkeit' the staff was rather on the tough side, especially the male receptionist. All the rest worked out well, and we had a not short stay. Note: there is no elevator, but they help with the luggage.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this completely affordable little hotel with the most adorable bedrooms and the most accommodating staff! The rooms are beautiful (Mine was Room 18 overlooking the main road, but that means with lots of sunshine!) I was allowed to check in early as the room was ready and I found little chocolates on my bed...

We were last in Dusseldorf 14 years ago and stayed in a larger more impersonal hotel. This time we returned with school friends to catch up and also for my wife to revisit old haunts from her time as an au pair in the 70's. The entire trip was a success as all the travel arrangements went on time and...

Great stuff and hotel! Liked everything about it. Had an amazing large room with personal exit to inter-garden. Old-fashioned hotel and historic looking hotel. Very friendly and warm welcome stuff. If we go back to Düsseldorf will definitely choose this hotel. Very low price for such a hotel, we were reply surprised

Yes one is located about one mile from the shopping district- away from all the noise and hectic activities, but one is directly located near a tram stop and the train station. The hotel has no elevator, but don't worry about your luggage. It is placed in your room before you finish your registration, but you still will have a...

The hotel is in a great old building, with winding stairways, where it's easy to get lost and go to the wrong room and a touch of English charm. The staff are professional and friendly, the breakfast is great. All of the staff really go the extra mile for their guests. A great recommendation for business or pleasure.

This hotel is a good choice if you want something different from the many chain hotels in the city. the rooms are small but warm and confortable, with sweet details that make them original. Furthermore, some small welcome goods are waiting for you everyday. There is no elevator and the area itself is not the best one in Dusseldorf, though...

Just got back from a weekend away, to be honest we wasn't really looking forward to it as the break was arranged a boxing fight that was postponed, however flights was already booked and the airline wouldn't refund or allow them to be rescheduled so instead of losing the money we decided just to have a quick weekend away. As...

What a great find this charming little hotel was! Very friendly staff. Great selection at breakfast with a buffet and made to order eggs and bacon. The centre of Dusseldorf and Altstadt are within easy walking distance. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again!!!

“We had room 20. This room is at the side of the hotel. With the windows open you hear the trains going by (thereis a railway station close by. When windows closed, you don't hear anything form outside at all. As I said before the bathroom is small, but convenient. Heating was on (hot!!!) and A/C was available in the room (which could be needed in summer time). Free WiFi (excellent receitpt). Ask reception for the codes.”
