Really helpful and pleasant staff at reception and made us feel welcome. Room was a good size, really nice modern room and bathroom, everything in good condition with good storage for a few days stay. Shower was good. Bed was one of the new style foam and very comfortable and after the terribly hard bed we had in a hotel the previous night, was very much appreciated. Only had one pillow each and could have done with two, I am sure we could have got extra if we had asked but the staff leave site around 11pm and we were back later than that. We did not have breakfast as they were working on timed slots because of the size of the breakfast room and the only slot left was 7.30-8.30 which was too early for us (so tip, request your breakfast slot when booking the hotel). We knew there was a bakery a couple of doors down which also had a coffee machine, bought these and ate in our room, we had 2 chairs and a table area. The breakfast however looked good and only an extra 9euro. They had their own parking in a secure area for 9 euro but not sure if it would be sufficient for everyone arriving in a car. The hotel is about 5-10 min walk directly to the centre of town and felt quite safe. Trier is a great place to spend a day and evening. We found the hotel very quiet only the sounds of the city! Would stay again.

The location of this hotel was very good. It was not located in the old city centrum - which made it easier to access by car - but just a 400 to 500m walk to the Porta nigra and the old city centrum. Private parking was available at a small daily price.
The room was very spatious, very clean. Staff was friendly and helpfull. There was a lot of noise during the night - inside and outside of the hotel.
Breakfast was good, a lot of choice.
Overall happy with our stay here!

The room was clean and had a balcony with chairs, though a rainy October was not a good time to enjoy this. We did not tst out the air conditioning My wife pronounced the bed comfortable.
Room made every day and the wet bathmat - thanks to a leaky shower door - also replaced every day.
Hotel very conveniently placed for the city centre. Breakfast perfectly adequate - if you want more choice then spend 50% extra at the nearby Mercure.

Nice hotel 5 min. walk from downtown with parking in the back. We had a room with small terrace in the back of the hotel- quiet -and a very huge room with big TV and a very good bed-
Breakfast is buffet with a lot of choices of cheese, ham, eggs and fresh fruit.
Parking is 9 euro which is very cheap.
Clean rooms and very friendly and helpful staff.

This is a 'way above average' hotel. Why? The staff is very friendly and flexible, the rooms are clean, the beds are excellent and large, and there is a private parking that's fully surveyed by camera's. On top of that: the beautiful city center of Trier is very close, and if you need basic stuff there are 2 supermarkets, and a bakery close by. We only spent 2 days here but would come back to this hotel. Last but but.nkt least: excellent breakfast.
The rooms are accessible by an elevator.

The hotel was very nice. Staff at checkin were so friendly and caring. Room was big, clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and very good. Nice parking lot in back for the car which was very nice. Perfect location too, walking distance to the center.

Spacious room with a modern feel -- comfortable bed, newly remodeled bathroom, and a small balcony. Excellent breakfast buffet and a very friendly staff. It is a short walk from the hotel to the Porta Nigra and the city center, so it is nicely situated. My stay in Trier was extended by one night, but, unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked, so I had to leave. A very good stay. Recommended.

** Parking -- I neglected to see that parking had to be reserved in advance, and, although they seemed to have several spaces free every time I looked, I had to park on the street near the cemetery - about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. All of the spaces near the hotel were metered, with a maximum of 2 hour intervals.

They had a spacious and very clean room with us with a large bathroom, a kitchen area with a table, a large and comfortable king-size bed and then there were stairs that led up to a loft with two twin beds. The staff was wonderful! Kind, helpful and spent time talking to us about the local wines and where the best non-touristy wine places were. Short walk to the center of town. We only spent one night there but would definitely make it our first choice if we ever return again. Fabulous wine-garden called Kessellstaat near the the church. Delicious wines, food and laid-back service.

We arrived in Trier at around 02.00 to a deserted city centre & nobody to ask for directions to the hotel which we knew was located not too far from the train station. A quick phone call to the hotel & problem solved as the night receptionist gave us the simple directions to find the hotel. A very quick & friendly check in & it was straight up the stairs to our non smoking room on the 1st floor & off to bed.
Our room, great size, contempory, very clean, very bright with 2 very comfortable single beds, wall mounted flat screen tv, fridge, wardrobe, full length mirror, smoke alarm, sofa, breakfast bar, workstation, chairs, carpet & wood effect flooring, complimentary bottled mineral water & sweets. Plenty of natural light but a lot of traffic noise when the window was open but total silence with the window closed.
The bathroom was a little bit on the small side but still ok & was very clean with fully tiled walls & floor, large wet room style shower cubicle with glass screen, shower head on rail with great pressure & plenty of hot water, hairdryer, large mirror, makeup mirror, plenty of towels & good quality liquid soap & hair/bodywash in dispensers.
Breakfast was served in the lobby area & was very good with a good choice including cereals, yoghurts, salad, selection of breads & rolls, pastries, croissants, cheeses, cold meats, scrambled & boiled eggs, fruit salad, fresh whole fruits, fruit juices, coffee & flavoured teas.
Checking out was extremely quick & friendly. We left our luggage with the hotel, free of charge, for several hours after we checked out as we went to explore Trier.
Located in the street directly opposite the Porta Negra & no more than 2 to 3 minutes walk from it & approx 10 minutes walk from the train station.
Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a stay in Trier.

This hotel is located 5m walking from the Porta Nigra. A good location. Parking is available in the back lot for €7/day. The receptionist didn't mind us leaving the car there for a few hours after we checked out in order for us to go into town.

Shower is perfect for people >2m
Wifi network is open but requires a 4 digit sign in code available from the front desk. Reception in room 101 was good. A nice room for sure.
