Could not fault this hotel staff, food, drink, location were all perfect. They even have a brewery and the beer is top class. Rooms are decorated to a high standard as well. Close to the old town means easy to get to all the local sights and shops.

Stayed 10 Nov 2016. Very comfortable but the absolute best part is the staff -- from check-in to dinner everybody was amazing. We had booked a walking tour but arrived only minutes before. She rebooked us giving us time to make the tour. The grill is wonderful, one of the best steaks we ever had.

Trier is a great small city to visit; and for folks who are undertaking a bike or car tour down the Mosel in the direction of Koblenz, this is a natural starting point (especially with access to the Luxembourg airport so close). Hotels abound in its compact footprint, and there is a price point here for everyone. But for cost...

Great hotel, with very comfortable rooms. They also brew their own beer which is fantastic. There's a large courtyard/beer garden which is popular in the summer. The menu is limited but what they offer is good. The room was quiet, but we were on the side facing away from the courtyard. Service was very friendly from the receptionist to the...

Reasonable hotel. Rooms are clean. The restaurant /Bierstube is typical German fare and good value for money. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Parking is also OK. BUT do not stay here when they have one of their Weinfests or Bierfests on as even with all the windows closed and at the opposite end of the hotel from the Biergarten you...

It was heaven to take a dip in the indoor swimming pool after a long drive and an early start. We also made use of the sauna to relax on both evenings we stayed. The beer garden restaurant is reasonably priced and very popular with the locals, so if you want to eat in be sure to book a table....

Stayed here while visiting the University (which was just a short 20 min walk), the hotel room was clean, I had breakfast and a fruit plate each day, which were both well worth the $$$. The food and the beer were great, no issues, somewhat innovative in their BBQ choices. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The bus...

The hotel is a little bit outside of the center of Trier, but not too far from the Amphitheatre. To go to down town by bycicle is ideal, as you can take a nice biking trail through private gardens. The hotel itself is wonderful with an excellent and very friendly staff.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights while visiting Trier and the adjacent Moselle valley. The hotel is out of the city, to far to walk, not a problem to us as we had a car and I understand there are plenty of local buses but perhaps not ideal if you are looking for nightlife. The situation is...

Dear Kerryman2016, sorry about the unpleseant stay in our house. Normally all our guest are very pleased with the service in our house. We are not tolerating this kind of behaviour, even if it is a lot to do because of the Euro Soccer Games. So we will check the waiters, so that this could happen again. The siren you...
