Best place to stay in Dresden. Wonderful, welcoming service from the moment of arrival, spacious and clean rooms which were made available to us despite our early arrival and easily within walking distance of all the sights in the city. Elegant style of hotel. Loved it here!

Beautiful hotel in an ideal location with friendly, professional staff. The courtyard ice rink and sumptuous breakfast spread were the highlights for me. A few hitches with weak wifi (to be expected in heritage buildings with thick stone walls) and my non-refundable payment not

Thank you so much for staying with us. As a whole team we are more than delighted to learn that we met your expectations and even amazed you with our unique ice rink as well as the rich breakfast buffet. We deeply regret that you experienced difficulties with the wifi. We are constantly doing our best to provide the best and most effective internet connection to our guest. As you already mentioned the thick walls sometimes do not serve the purpose. It would be a great pleasure to welcome you again in the not too distant future. With best regards, Marten Schwass General Manager

I can echo the reports of the other people who have answered this question. The junior suite that I stayed in was beautifully updated. It is definitely the best hotel in Dresden. And, the staff could not be better.

Sorry if this arrives too late. Rather than get off at Postplatz, we continued to the next stop, Theaterplatz. You go past the hotel, and then walk back. It's not far. The trams were a very convenient way to get round Dresden.
