Great convenient location. Two major problems. First: the rooms are exceptionally dark, lit only by 2 small bulbs. There are no available outlets, so if you want to charge your phone, you lose 50% of the light in the room. Rooms need better lighting and more outlets. Second: The "free" Wifi is awful. You get what you pay for,. The...

The central location of this hotel is a real bonus. Everything is within walking distance. Though at a busy intersection rooms are quiet and nicely appointed. The hotel building seems to be one of the old stately homes common at the turn of the 20th century and oozes old world charme. The breakfast room with a huge chandelier hanging from...

It was a nice warm hotel. I had an Arrangment voor 2 days. Breakfast was good and the diner superb. It was at the port of the city,so you can go voor a drink at a terras in the old town. People were very friendly and helpfull.

This charming hotel is somewhat overpriced but we stayed there on a holiday weekend and got the last available room so we were glad to find accommodations and didn't mind paying a little more than planned. The room was small but adequate, clean but with a slightly musty smell, and the bed was average comfort. Our service was great and...

Although this hotel shows some old fashioned charm, we found it very unsatisfying. We were first given a smoking room right off the busy and creaky staircase. On request we were moved to another old room which at least was non-smoking. The bed was horrible - a water bed if you can believe it! I thought they went out in...

Its an old partly refurbished Hotel with the Flair of the old Days. Service is mid class quality; like in the Past of the DDR System. The Reservation was made with HRS (hotel reservation system / hrs.de); hrs guaranteed the Booking - the Hotel did not had one... Glad to become a tiny SGL Room! Located in the Center of...

Kaiserhof is a very old hotel location in Eisenach. It has been around in various shapes for a good hundred years. Being next to the railway station, it is obviously an old "railway hotel". Indeed nothing wrong with that; on the contrary the location is just fine for exploring the small town of Eisenach with its Bach and Martin Luther...

Old classic and traditional hotel with large rooms and high ceilings. Good value concerning th e hotel ( 96 EUR double room incl breakfast). Perfect food in weinrestaurant Turmschanke( bib gourmand michelin ) . The Wartburg Castle is over-estimated as well as the village of Eisenach. You should visit the site of Buchenwald

We had a comfortable one night stay at this genuine old style hotel. It is situated just round the corner from the shopping streets close to Marktplatz. The food they serve in the restaurant is very good with many local specialities. Free WiFi and parking for € 3.- . Martin Luther stayed in a house close by as did J...
