We are in a restored house dating from the sixteenth century. All the original parts of the existing house have been preserved, and the rooms have been arranged around the patios. The zones of new construction are in front of the biggest courtyard in which an archaeological deposit, dated around the IV century, found during the building refurbishment can be observed. Patios del Orfebre is located between the millenary and narrow streets at the heart of Cordoba, 350 m from calle judios, 450 m from the majestic Mezquita-Catedral de Cordoba (Mosque-Cathedral), this casa-patio dating from the XVI century has opened its doors, and offers an unforgettable experience: stay in a wonderful architectural example, a protected building that is part of the historic center of Cordoba, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and among one of the largest sites of the entire old continent.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our room was very small and there was no option for breakfast either at this hotel or a decent breakfast anywhere nearby. The patio is much smaller than the photos suggest. If you get a room on the first floor, you will likely hear the coffee maker and the microwave. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

Thank you very much for your comment. We are sorry to hear that you found the room small but it is the right size for the category of the establishment. We would like to inform you that we do have breakfast service but it is not in the establishment, it is in a cafeteria 200 metres from the establishment. Best regards

Decided to travel to Cordoba from Málaga last minute and wanted a central hotel that was relatively cheap but good. This one cost us £32 for a lovely room. The hotel is so clean and the rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The hotel is in a central position in the beautiful old town but is only about a 10-15 minute walk from the station. Don’t let the cheap price fool you this is a very nice hotel and probably the best one we have stayed in for price anywhere in the world.

This Hotel is situated in a quiet street between the old town and new town. Takes only 5 mins to walk to either.
This wonderful hotel had friendly helpful staff.
The rooms were of a good size with plenty of storage place
Large TV on the wall
Bed was of a good size
Balcony to look out of
This hotel is 1 * but worthy of being 3* at least
The hotel was extremely clean throughout the building
Excellent value for money

My wife, daughter and I stayed one night at Patios del Orfebre in Cordoba. It is conveniently located just inside the city walls near the Jewish Quarter. The historical center, including the Mesquita cathedral-mosque is 15 minutes away by foot. It is also approximately 15 minutes from the away from the Plaza de las Tendillas shopping area. There is really good food 5 minutes away at Mercado Victoria.

The ambiance of the hotel is nice. There is a rock garden and a fountain just as you pass the registration desk. We had a triple room, and we found the room spacious enough for us. There was a mini-fridge in the room, and free wifi is available.

For those driving, park at the Paseo de la Victoria parking lot, which is a few minutes away. Note the road in front of the hotel Is for locals only. If you do need to drive to the hotel front door, you will need to notify the desk in advance to register your vehicle. Overall, we had a great stay.

Dear George, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a comment. It is very important for us to know your opinion of your stay at Patios del Orfebre. We are pleased to know that you had a wonderful stay with us and that you enjoyed our location as well as the design and comfort of our establishment. As we are located in the historic centre of the city, we always recommend our guests to park in the Paseo de la Victoria car park and walk to the establishment as the streets are very narrow. We hope to see you again at Patios del Orfebre. Best regards and thank you very much

Extremely nice hotel near the Jewish quarter of Córdoba. Comfortable small rooms that are very clean and very quiet along with nice staff. The place is airy on a small street and the rooms, although small have a lot of light and feel open. I would like to stay here again,

A beautifully restored building. The rooms are modern, very clean and quiet. The beds are huge and very comfortable. The staff on reception friendly and helpful, they gave us a map and pointed out the key places of interest and also made some recommendations for restaurants and tavernas. The hotel is just outside the main historic centre, about a 10 min walk through wonderful cobbled streets. Highly recommend you stay here when visiting Cordoba.

Well located right next to old town, this place is cozy and clean. Rooms are on the smaller side but everything works and is exactly as advertised, including the cute courtyard and the token ancient ruin in the patio. A hidden gem this is not, but a well run rest stop is what we needed and that’s what we got.

We stayed here in September 2023 as part of our road trip around Andalusia. This is a small boutique hotel in the back streets of Córdoba. It's ideally placed and is very close to all amenities and landmarks including the Córdoba Cathedral/Mosque.

Our room was small but we were only here for one night so it suited us. The bathroom was a good size and toiletries were provided. The room was lovely and cool despite the hot weather outside. Our room had a tiny balcony but we didn't use it. The hotel also had a lovely small courtyard which had chairs so you could sit outside if you wanted, but it was shaded from the sun. We would recommend this hotel is visiting Córdoba for a day or two.

There were so many things we liked about this hotel. We loved the informal relaxed atmosphere and the very friendly staff. We loved the modern design inside and the good facilities. We loved being so close to the old town and not far away from the newer shopping area
Breakfast is at a separate restaurant 5 mins walk away, but that was nt a problem for us. We would definitely return.

Nice and well located hotel in the Old town within walking distance the Mezquita Cathedral/Mosque and other monuments of interest. The room we got was spacious, the bathroom was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and we could get the room already att 11 in the morning as it was cleaned and ready. We highly recommend Patio del Orfebre.
