The hostel is located in the lovely Arabic market, in a central position even if a little bit difficult to reach if you don't have a backpack. The reception and bar staff is really friendly and always organize activities for the guests. The rooms and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The kitchen is big and well equipped. The hostel is well located in the centre of the city but it is not very clean. The staff is friendly but they need to work on cleanliness of the rooms, toilets and lounge. There were a couple of tourists around, there could be many more if they increase their facilities.

I traveled to Andalusia with 22 students (22 in all) in March 2017.Luisa and the staff at the Oasis Hostels community of hostels could not have been more accommodating. We received great treatment everywhere we went. Specifically at this hostel in Malaga the rooms were clean and decent sized. We were fortunate enough to have a bathroom including shower in...

Noisy. Impolite and lazy staff. It isn't a place to sleep. Backgroud music during the night. There was a problem with the elevator , we had to carry our luggage, lots of stairs. Small and uncomfortable common area.

If you stay at Oasis Backpacker Hostel Malaga--expect 5-star treatment, great facilities, CAFE/BAR on-site with BREAKFAST, DINNER OPTIONS for an additional cost on the ground level, nightly pub crawls, activities every night with awesome staff, rooftop terrace. Hostel has a common area with 2 kitchens on level...

Our two night stay at this hostel was average. We booked based on reviews and photos, yet upon arrival we were disappointed with the facility. Kitchen was in poor condition and not very clean. The staff were not as friendly as we had hoped. No one talked to us - we came and went, and front desk staff didn't acknowledge...

This was the best hostel I've ever been! And I'm traveling a lot! So modern, rooms were really cosy and big, bathroom is huge and it was extra cleaned! Location is great, maybe it's little hard to find it at first but it's really close to the clubs if you're planning to go out. Staff is amazing, really kind, there...

I was upgraded and paid for 6 nights and the seventh was free. The room was big and had its own bathroom and a fridge although the fridge freezes anything you put in it so be careful. staff were very nice and helpful especially Samah at the reception. the kitchen was good.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the most "party" hostel in Malaga. We have a saying at Oasis Backpacker's Hostel in Malaga, " If you can't meet anyone here, you can't meet anyone anywhere!" or maybe that was "Why do my socks smell like tequila?" Either way, cheap drinks, two bars, and endless activities keep travellers mingling all night long. In Malaga we want everyone to join in the fun. Whether we're spending the day basking in the warm Andalusian sun at one of Malaga's many beaches (yes even in the winter), sipping cocktails while looking out over the skyline on our rooftop bar or stumbling through the historic center after one of our famous nights out, you will be welcomed into the family...Oasis Style! ... more   less
