We booked this hotel in a rush and I have to confess it turned out not to be in the area of Malaga where I had stayed before but once I realised where it was, it did have some distinct advantages in that it was close to the central railway station and was next door to the Larios shopping centre....

This is the first Tryp or Melia hotel that has been really disappointing. The hotel is classified as four star, although it has very few amenities. There is no bar, or lounge. The bedrooms are tired and much in need of refurbishment. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable we have experienced - narrower than most Spanish hotel doubles,...

Good quiet location helpful staff and very comfortable rooms. Breakfast is an excellent buffet and the evening meal we had on our first night was good too. Rooms had wifi. Very close to a shopping centre. Thank you.

We stayed here as a base for a flying three day visit to Malaga and booked it at a reasonable price. It's easy to find and within walking distance of the main train station. However, it was a bit of a walk to the beach area or old town and probably best suited for business visits or for shoppers as...

This was our 5th return visit to the Tryp Malaga. Never disappointed. Great staff, service and facilities. The breakfast buffet has an amazing selection of foods - fresh fruit, smoked salmon, salami, cakes! We would certainly return again on any future visits to Malaga.

I found it hard to give a rating as I think this hotel is better than an average rating but not very good. it missed out on very good as the reception staff seemed to have different information about the offer we had from the internet and we were charged for something that should have been free under the offer...

Stayed Dec 28, 2016 to Jan 11,2017. The room: Quiet with double glass windows. Can't hear a thing when closed. Room 208 was far from the elevators and window was facing the parking building which closed at 10pm so no noise during bedtime. The bed was comfortable for me. I like a firm mattress. I had a double bed. Room...

This hotel struck me as a funny little place, very basic and pretty old fashioned. But Spain used to be filled with hotels like this. There were no amenities beyond the absolutely necessary. But, it was very reasonably priced and in an ideal place. The staff were helpful and we were very fortunate to get a balcony in the sun!...
