Friendly, helpful and professional owner, Gerald, gave us good tips as to local and good Places to have our breakfast, go for a drink and tapas and/or dinner. The house is small, well kept. Our room was small(ish) but confortable and with A/C. View to the inner courtyard. Bathroom is part of the room and has no door/curtain to separate...

We happily stayed at El Riad Andaluz in 2011, so this was a return visit for us, equally successful, with the very helpful Gerard the new owner. We again enjoyed the Riad very much. Ask for the Sumak room, a little more expensive, but worth it. It features a charming small terrace overlooking the typical internal courtyard. We don't agree...

We arrived to the hotel approximated at 8:00 pm; the taxi had a difficult time finding the hotel due that is located in a very tiny street and no access for vehicles. We walked about a block from the drop off. When we were looking for the hotel; we found a sign in a old traditional Spanish house. At the...

As we don't know the name of the persons leaving the comments, it is not always easy to find the appropriate reply. As the majority of our clients use Booking.com, I can only say that the double bedroom description does not mention aircon, TV or safe

Booked this hotel via Hostalworld in January, for one night over the August festival weekend in Malaga. Following the booking, we received a lovely confirmation email from Florent, at the hotel, to check arrival times and whether we wanted to book parking. We confirmed we did and heard no more. We emailed the hotel to double check everything a week...

Dear J. I can understand you were dissappointed. However you must tell all the story, When you arrived I explained clearly what happened. I told you that I took over the property in mid-June and while I was reviewing the reservation a week ahead I discovered that although you made your reservation in January, the previous owner at some stage...

The best thing about our stay here was Amanda, the very helpful and kind woman working the front desk when I made my reservation and when we arrived. But it was downhill from there. Our room was loud, hot, and claustrophobic. The lighting was so dim that it made me wonder if the room was clean. There was a ceiling...

Dear Nina, Thank you for you unfair comments. We are a small guest house, and can not afford to have an employee all night long to police the few people that have no consideration for others and making noise when they arrive. When I showed you the room you made te remark that there was no aircon, and replied that...

A small quirky hotel in the old part of Malaga. Very quiet, clean with helpful and pleasant staff. This is old traditional Spain so don't expect air con, TV, safe etc or door to en suite bathroom. No breakfast but - nice touch - kettle for tea and coffee in the courtyard. If possible ask for the only room with...

Room small but very comfortable, a really Moorish atmosphere. Needs a little bit of TLC, but we loved it. It may not be to everyone's taste, if you want air con and sleek lines this is not for you, but if you like character and quirkiness it ticks all the boxes!!!

Pepa was the perfect host. When she saw we had 2 big travel bags, she gave us a bigger room. It was very clean and tastefully decorated, the ensuite was quite large and had plenty of hot water. This Riad is close to everything but surprisingly quiet inside. We also were given a cheaper rate at the parking station. I...

Small rooms, but ours was beautifully decorated and very clean with a lovely balcony. We enjoyed our stay over the May bank holiday , and the staff were really friendly and helpful when we asked for advice on good local eateries... Thanks for some great Spanish tapas suggestions, Pepa!

El Riad Andaluz provides a surprisingly tranquil and quiet retreat, down a pedestrian street but just a block from the Teatro Cervantes, a vibrant square, and a 10-minute walk from the Picasso museum. Pepa is an accommodating host--full of information and lively banter. The room was cozy but imaginatively appointed with Moorish decor and the balcony overlooking the beautiful courtyard...
