Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel is located close to the beach and the Old Town. Rooms are bigger than most and the balcony is a bonus. The bathroom was a bit dated with a tub/shower/nozzle setup that was inconvenient. Breakfast was included in the room price and was a typical buffet of mediocre food. We ended up skipping it after the first morning and eating elsewhere. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Overall our stay was a good experience and we would stay there again.

Stayed here only for two days this time, last year we had a week and it was great.Receptionist very professional and efficient.Room on the top floor was as good as ever, very clean with plenty of space, good storage areas, clean well-equipped bathroom with toiletries supplied.Super balcony with table, chairs and views over the rooftops.TV in room had some UK channels, fridge worked extremely well. Food is of a high standard for a 3 star hotel with plenty of variation in the menus. The packed lunch (picnic) can be ordered the day before and it is just 1st class, best I have come across in Spain! Only minor issue this time is my wife and I felt the food could often not be very hot reaching the servery,it also seemed the overhead heating in this unit was either very poor or not working at all, such a shame for good quality produce.A small microwave is all that is needed to address this issue, many hotels have these now in the dining rooms. It has a great location,2 minutes from the bus stops and 5 minutes walk to the beach areas. We shall return again as the hotel and staff have real character.

Just got back from a 10 night stay. Hotel was superb, clean, tidy and very welcoming. Great location and breakfast was pretty good as well, nice staff and swimming pool was a nice peaceful chill out place to relax. All in all very good, would definitely stay here again in the future and would thoroughly recommend. Close to the old town and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Well done to everyone who made our stay so comfortable.

Stayed here for 5 nights recently on a half board basis. Chose this hotel for the location and we weren’t disappointed. A few minutes from the old town in one direction, and the beach in the other. Great ice cream shop on the corner! Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Pool on the terrace is small but was very quiet and we had no trouble getting a sun bed. Food choice was limited but suited us as we only ate there for breakfast and lunch. Good choice of salads. Hot food was only lukewarm. Pros: great location. Cons: no kettle, coffee/tea making facilities in room.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 week in June in the centre of Marbella room was lovely we were on the 6th floor had sun all day on balcony & there was a table & 2 chairs the room was quite big with 2 wardrobes plenty of space safe as well we were b&b & the breakfast was fine there is a roof terrace with a pool & loungers every time we went there was no problem getting a sunbed sometimes we had the place to ourselves. 2 days before we were going home the air conditioning packed in they said all of the 6th floor wasn’t working but the engineer will be here today to fix it he didn’t turn up so that night was very hot & stuffy had to leave balcony door open next day they offered us a new room so we took it as it was our last night & what a difference fantastic air conditioning this room was even better than our original one we would definitely go back to this hotel as central to everything really enjoyed our holiday.

Very clean, big room. The staff were multi lingual, very polite, professional and helpful. A great little pool on the sun terrace on the roof. I had breakfast included and there was a wide selection of hot and cold too choose from. Also my suitcase had broken while traveling. The hotel sent a maintenance person to see if he could fix it (it was way beyond repair though). When I asked about getting rid of my very large broken case before I left, housekeeping said to leave it in my room when I checked out and not to worry about it as they would dispose of it. Very very impressed with my whole stay and would definitely go back next time I am in Marbella.

We stayed here for a week as it was in the location we wanted to be - it had really good reviews so we booked it! The location is really good (we preferred it to the Puerto Banus area) and some good shops/areas to explore, with just a short walk to the sea front. Everyone was very friendly, the hotel and rooms are good and very clean. The balconies all face the sea (not that you can see it!) but that means you get the sun all day, which was great. There's a nice roof terrace and pool on the top floor. We had a room on the 6th floor, which was great. There was no kettle in the room, but we were given one after asking, which was great as we wake early. In fact our only real complaints relate to the meals, firstly in relation to the timing (breakfast 8am and evening meal 7.30pm), but the main complaint is that the food was cold/luke warm at best even though we were invariably first in! The food was good, we'd just would have liked to have it warm/hot! We' were on half board and had asked for 'pack up' one morning as we had to leave at 6.15am one morning (our son was in the Ironman Challenge in Puerto Banus and we had to cycle there - it's a great area for cycling along the seafront), all we wanted was some bread, boiled eggs and fruit, but were told this was not possible as we were not full board which I guess is fair enough; we were happy to be told some cold breakfast would be left out, however. Although this was a very kind offer, it turned out to be just cereal, which we don't like/eat, so we had to give it a miss, unfortunately. We'd made the mistake of hiring a car and there is nowhere to park - not just the hotel (you can park there for a short time whilst dropping cases off), it is Marbella generally. Parking was 20 Euros a day in a nearby underground car park - an expensive mistake, but completely our fault! We are happy to recommend this hotel - if we were wanting to go to Marbella again, we'd definitely go back to the hotel and are happy to recommend it ... though hopefully the food will be hot!

Shame about noisy inconsiderate guests returning at 2:40 am and still continuing as I write at 03:20 on their balconies on the 4th floor. 2nd night being kept awake. Lack of decent balcony doors and paper thin walls don't help so will not be back. Previous reviews 'suggested' the stag and hen night era had ended at this hotel but not the case. If you value some sleep on holiday this hotel won't be for you.

I could not believe the welcome and value I got from this hotel. I had a very quiet and peaceful night just round the corner from Marbella old town and within a very short walking distance to the beach. I was just looking for somewhere to rest my bones until a flight back the following afternoon, but I would be very happy to revisit the hotel for a much longer stay.
