This hotel should be rated higher. We stayed three nights. Hotel staff was really good: Helpful, responsive, informative and friendly. The bedroom was large and well-appointed. The bathroom had everything, including heated drying racks. Good breakfast: plenty of fruit, cereal, cured meats, etc. Coffee was excellent. Located on the Plaza Nueva, the old center of Granada. Lots of cafés and... More

This is a beautifully furnished hotel right in the centre of Granada within walking distance of The Alhambra - if you have a front facing room you can see it from your window. Lovely spacious bathroom with toiletries provided. Excellent buffet breakfast. The Albaicin, shops and restaurants are all close too.

Hotel Macia Plaza is the old building recently remodeled to be a hotel with all it's pros and cons. We stayed for 3 night and had a superior room on the 4th floor with balcony facing Plaza Nueva. It had a great view of the old city and Alhambra. The room was a normal size with comfortable bed, bathroom was... More

If you want to stay near all the main attractions in Granada, this is your choice. Service was excellent, they help me to find a parking, how to walk to the Alhambra, and two excellent restaurants for dinner. They also suggested me to be at 6:00am to get the tickets for visiting the Alhambra the next day, and it worked... More

The room was uncomfortable and parking far. Room lacks a place to rest your luggage and is tight, cramped. Beds are so short that feet hang off the edge. Lastly, the AC remote does not allow you to control the flow of air; the direct cold air ended up as a 3-day chest cold.

Stayed here for 2 nights, what a great location! I had a superior room and it is well worth the slightly higher cost to have this, as the view onto the square and up to the Alhambra is wonderful. It was great to just open the balcony doors and hear and see all that was going on. What really makes... More

You couldn't wish for a better location in Plaza Real at the foot of the street to Alhambra. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. If you're driving there, park outside the warren of small streets leading to the hotel and walk your baggage in. Our car park was two blocks from the hotel and charged 25E per day, though... More

Flamenco performances in the evening right outside the hotel door. The most courteous and helpful staff you've ever encountered and a central location that is both walking distance from most must-see sights and across the street from transit. A filling and hearty breakfast spread to begin each day of exploration. These were our top favourite things about the hotel Macia... More

No car? Want to be in the city centre? Want good facilities? Want good value and helpful staff? Stay here! The location is ideal. Walking distance to everything including uphill to the Alhambra (25 minutes) or if that is too much the C3 bus stop to get you there is 5 minutes away. So are all the other bus routes... More

The hotel is located in the centre of the town. Only 10 min walk to Alhambra, so many good bars, shopping etc... Staffs at the hotel were very friendly and gave us some ideas of what to do & where to eat. Must try churros for breakfast at next door cafe if you're not eating breakfast at the hotel. It... More
