Have just spent one night here. What a find. As quiet a place as you'd hope to find so close to one of Europe's premier tourist attractions. Set in the old town of Granada with views of the Alhambra. The bed was very comfy and when the lights are out it's pitch black. Just

We had a number of emails with the hotel after booking and they provided valuable direction as we drove form Malaga. Reserved parking was a bonus and the entrance via the great wooden door opens up a wonderful experience. Its almost a step back in time but a very comfortable and

From the moment we had worked out that we only needed to push at the enormous wooden door we were made welcome. Our room was quite, and comfortable. It had a (sideways) view of the Alhambra. Everything worked. But beware - it is part way up a steep cobbled street.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Morisca. It was authentic, quiet, clean and easy to find. We were able to walk everywhere. I had a slight problem and Victor addressed it immediately. The staff is pleasant and very willing to please. Would love to return

What a treasure of a hotel! They were incredibly kind and wonderful to us throughout our stay. We stayed in Granada during my husband’s birthday, and I wanted to give him a room facing the Alhambra on that day. When I emailed them with that request, they went out of their way to

I don’t think the hotel books ahead. Their website has the link for tickets, though. Be sure you use the link on the hotel website because I remember having trouble booking too. We booked our tickets ahead 3 months to the day, we had read that tickets are limited since they don’t want the Alhambra too crowded. You could try for Alhambra by Night tickets, it was not as crowded and it was magical. You just don’t get to see quite as much and you don’t get to see the gardens. I would write to the hotel and ask if there is another way to get tickets. Also, if you’re driving, don’t let your GPS guide you, it may take you behind the hotel on a street above it where you cannot leave your car. It’s the narrowest street in Granada and we had 3 inches of clearance on either side of our midsize car. It was a difficult drive. When you are on the correct street it’s also very narrow and looks like a pedestrian zone, but you can get through.

Taxis are expensive in Spain, can't help with exact cost as we had a hire car.

Do you have parking? Air Conditioning?
It has AC. We weren't travelling by car but did observe spaces on the other side of the road from the hotel. We put questions like this, in English, directly to the hotel before we went on our holiday and found them very quick and helpful in their responses.
