This little, charming hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet corner of Sevilla's old town, close to the Cathedral and Alcazar. The rooms are very clean, each differently and tastefully styled, the beds comfortable, the entry hall gives the feeling of being in a private home. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful and gives the impression that they like their job. The breakfast is optional at EUR15.-, offers different selections, freshly made. A little gem as long as no little children are staying there. Thank you for offering us such a pleasant stay.

We stayed in a standard room for 2 nights over a long weekend. The hotel is an extremely good location, just a couple of mintues' walk to the Alcazar and Cathedral, yet still perfectly quiet. We arrived shortly after midday, but within about half an hour they had the room ready for us to check-in early. In general the staff were extremely helpful throughout.

The room we stayed in was nothing special, but it was on of their cheaper rooms and was a lot less than some others. I got the impression some of the more pricey rooms might be quite a lot nicer. But the price we paid felt very fair for the location and overall quality of the hotel. Moreover, the room was still fairly comfortable and was not too small. The only real issue for us, leading to a 4 rather than 5 star rating, was that the bathroom had a pretty unpleasant smell from the drains throughout our stay.

Wifi was good. We did not try the breakfast, but it is available at a surcharge and sounded good.

The hotel was very well located in the old town and was great for walking and sightseeing the old town, as well as the other attractions in the city centre. The hotel was extremely quiet and peaceful - no vehicle or pedestrian noise. Our room was extremely comfortable, breakfasts were great, and the service from the staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Our stay at the hotel contributed greatly to a wonderful three days in Seville.

We loved our stay at this little boutique hotel. The room and bathroom we had was big, clean and modern with historical accents of the original building kept into the interior renovation design. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also loved the afternoon tea put on daily for guests - a welcome idea during siesta time when many shops are still closed etc.
The location is perfect to all the attractions and in close proximity to many amazing restaurants (those these weren’t hard to find in Seville).
We would love to come back and stay here again!

Magnificent views of Alcazar gardens from our room. We had a room with a balcony which was beautiful. The room was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel location is very central yet quiet and all places of interest were within walking distance.

We stayed at the Legado Alcazar for 13 nights. It is located off a main street in a quiet corner away from the hustle and bustle of the Santa Cruz barrio. It is 3 minutes from the Alcazar, a few minutes from numerous restaurants on all sides. No more than 5-10 minutes walk to almost all the tourist sites in this part of Seville.

The hotel is boutique and not large. However it makes up for the size with a personal intimacy and outstanding service. Our room was adequate but it had a large outside living area deck with a bath tub and lounge chairs. The view out the windows and deck was straight into the Alcazar gardens and you could hear multiple birds calling through the day. It was lovely.

Breakfast was freshly cooked and off a menu. It started with a bowl for fresh fruit, small cup of yogurt and orange juice. Next was an option that consisted of granola/yogurt topped with fruit or Spanish oatmeal, or several other choices. The main course included an American BF or some combination of bread with Iberian ham/salmon, etc. Bottom line is that it was filling and really very good.

Service was outstanding. The folks in the kitchen, maid service and reception area were all very personable, professional and basically just really nice. Alegria was one of the receptionist that was very helpful and went above to help organize a few tours for us.

Bottom Line: Nice boutique hotel in middle of most major sights but yet tucked away in a corner making it quiet and peaceful for guest. Great service and really good breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

I’ve still not made up my mind about the Legado Alcazar. The rooms are a bit small and occasionally shared with rather too many flies, but everything else is very impressive. Let’s start with the rooms, as I’d like to conclude with my more positive impressions. Our group’s rooms were quite pokey and poorly cleaned. I’m not convinced that housekeeping did anything other than replace towels and make the bed throughout our three nights’ stay. One room accumulated quite a number of dead, as well as living, flies during our stay and these weren’t consistently cleaned away.

Now on to the many good bits. The Legado Alcazar has a great location, being right next to Real Alcazar and very close to the Cathedral. The lounge area is bright and comfortable and steps away from most of the rooms. The staff at the front desk are a wonder. They were consistently helpful throughout our stay, enabling us to easily explore Italica and making sure we were fed before our flight home. Speaking of food, the breakfast is superb. The quality is excellent and it’s plentiful and keenly priced. Given the huge number of nearby eateries, we were initially in two minds about whether to breakfast at the hotel. We are glad we did.

Whether or not the Legado Alcazar is for you depends on your priorities – rooms (not so good in our case) versus everything else that affects your stay at a hotel (great).

Dear Mutandis, I would like to thank you for taking the time to place your feedback regarding your stay at Legado Alcazar. Your feedback shares that you were happy with the location, staff and food quality, nor with the quality of the cleaning service received and it is a high priority for me to ensure that this experience does not repeat for you or any other guests in our hotel. Please take note that, due to the lack of rain in previous months, there was a plague in the city of small flies, that we trated with smoke, that is the reason some appeared dead, but it was the only way not to use harmful insecticides to the environment. And the plague has been finally removed thanks to the rain these past days. Once again thank you very much for staying at Legado Alcazar, and we hope to see you again. With kind regards, Yolanda

The staff really couldn’t do enough for you and we’re so friendly at any time of day. The breakfast was exceptional (3 courses for €15 per person), really sets you up for the day! The hotel is a few minutes walk from the cathedral and Alcazar Palace with lots of options for dinner and bars nearby. The concierge also gave us some great recommendations for dinner in the evening! The mini bar in the room is also very reasonably priced with plenty of the options for children and adults. The air con was a dream!

Located about 3 minutes from the Alcazar and cathedral and about 15/20 minutes to the parks in the other direction. Perfect spot to explore Seville. Staff were very welcoming and attentive at breakfast and offered good recommendations for local restaurants. Rooms nicely furnished, beds very comfortable and air con effective. Watch out for taxi drivers dropping you off in the wrong location. Some didn't know you could drive to the hotel and left us about a 10 minute walk away with bags in the midday heat. Rather than uber we had more look walking to the taxi rank round the corner outside the Hotel Alfonso 13th, and they're still very cheap too.

Fantastic location built into the walls of the Palace of Alcazar, near the Cathedral and the main centre, just really easy to get around on foot. Stayed for four days and onl6 used transport to get to and from the airport (20 min journey around 25 euros).

Special shout out to Laura and Nacho who were both really helpful and welcoming and a real credit to this hotel.

We had a room on the ground floor with the window facing the palace of Alcazar gardens. You could not actually see anything apart from a wall of shrubbery but it was a very pleasant room. This was billed as a basic room but it was immaculate, comfortable and well equipped.

Nice touch from Laura who noticed from my passport at check in, without being prompted, that it was my birthday during the stay and arranged for a piece of cake to be in the room with a birthday message.

Breakfast are really good. Start with fresh fruit, orange juice and yogurt delivered to your table with the option of two further courses covering many options. Then your choice is freshly prepared. We typically did manage all three courses.

Another nice touch was the light afternoon tea, just a few bits but tended to be enough to see us through to dinner time without the need for a lunch after the big breakfast.

There are cheaper alternatives to this property but I have nothing but praise for both the staff and the property and location, an all round winner.
