It is a boutique hotel in good location - has new decor had pretty local art work and nice rooftop in general but overall services is that of a 3 star hotel not the 5 star it claims. They outsource their housekeeping and room service - 5 star criteria states : All areas of operation should meet the 5 Star level of quality for cleanliness, maintenance, hospitality, and for the quality of physical facilities and delivery of services. It did not meet the standard at all. In fact, jacuzzi filters had fungi and was filthy beyond belief.

Nice hotel with central location but feels more like a 4 star rather than 5 star. Many of the issues raised by others in previous reviews have been resolved although there still is a terrible smell in several parts of the hotel and the room didn’t smell great either. Some of the small 5* details are missing such as no bathrobes, no gym, and the service at the rooftop bar/pool was poor and very different to the service experienced at reception and in the breakfast restaurant, which was excellent and friendly. Also the furniture on the rooftop was warn and felt a little tired in parts. I loved the dark shades and trendy decor in the room and around the hotel.

Never in my life, have I ever come across any business that cared less about their customers and their experience, than at Hotel Lobby Room! They expect guests to stay in rooms that stink of sewage and pretend they can’t smell a thing! Check the reviews, this wasn’t a bad week, guests have been complaining for at least a year! We accepted the second room, which had obviously been aired, because when we returned at 10pm that night, the smell was overpowering. We were informed that it was the bath in the bedroom and over the next 4.5 hours, there were repeated attempts to rectify it by running bath water, plugging the overflow, then the plug hole… with the duty manager opening the windows to freezing December night air, forcing us out of the room… again… and again, until we finally collapsed into bed at 2.45am. Note, if you want more than one pillow each, give yourself plenty of time and make sure you ask for pillowcases as well. Ours arrived at 1am, together with cocktail napkins for the bath plug hole! The Rooftop Bar was freezing and they refused to give me tea, as it was after 6pm. The downstairs bar was freezing, as the doors to the street were open, we discovered, due to the smell of sewage! There was not one comfortable place in the hotel! The staff were using blankets from the bar but not offering guests! After a catalogue of failings and being put through a night from hell, their remedy was to refund us for the first night, on condition that we checked out the next day, forfeiting the second night’s accommodation that we had already paid for! We didn’t, so they didn’t! The manager backtracked and stated that the staff worked hard the next day to make up for it, so we didn’t deserve a refund or any compensation. The ‘work’ included, fetching a birthday cake that we had paid for, from our friend’s bedroom and bringing it up to the Rooftop Bar, singing happy birthday; putting tea in our bedroom, that they had omitted to do the day before, as the waiter had suggested I go to my bedroom to make some myself; and putting an air purifier in the bedroom. Cleaning was questionable, the bathroom sink was disgusting – See photos. Breakfast was inedible the first day – See photo of cold ‘poached’ eggs that were raw. Staff refused to take them back, said they are meant to be like that! If you want 5-star accommodation and service, book elsewhere!

A ton of money was invested in interior (I like, but not for the price of below explained). Who ever design this hotel interior should try to live few days here. Endless doors with digital key to reach your room. Room was sizeable but poorly design, lots lost in corridor. Wardrobe even worse, tiny space. They give you option to use AC but whatever you do with, it is not working. Poorly lit (require masters degree to isolate lights you want to use). Charging your gadgets, good luck with that, sockets near TV goes off when you off the lights (use one at you night stand). Dump, foul smell on stairs and in room. Corridors and rooms not suitable for senior people. The noise, from outside was painful, especially, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (you may catch some sleep after 04:00). Cleanliness questionable, so dark, cleaning staff may not be able to see what to clean. Chipped to of the glass in buffet area, toilette seat and cover without stoppers so you can slide from the toilette bowl. Breakfast; again interior is "sick"(in a good way). They are adamant not to give you bread knife, because it is a special kind of knife which we adults do not know how to use, so you choose your bread and they send it to kitchen to cut and bring it back😂. Options are borderline for 5* hotel. What I do not like above all is why I must ask instead this to be given? Every time something runs out you must ask, they will not replenish, you must ask. Small things like tissue in room, sanitary bag, you do not have , but piece of furniture no one knows what is it for, that you have. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I believe the hotel does not meet the requirements set for a five-star hotel. The room was poorly cleaned, even outrageously dirty in some areas. The Wi-Fi connection was extremely poor, and the room was affected by disco noise and street commotion. Fortunately, I had earplugs with me. Our early breakfast was nothing short of a joke: two apples, two juice boxes, and two ham-cheese sandwiches.

Solo mature female business traveller. One night stay, deluxe room. I was attracted to this five star Boutique Hotel for both it's interior and location. Unfortunately, I was only staying one night before a flight back to the UK the next day. I calculated that my entire stay from Check In to Check Out was around eighteen hours in total. However, regardless of the fact that I had only booked one night, the personal service I got from the moment I stepped inside the amazing Lobby, from the very efficient, professional and friendly Carlos, was first class. Check in was quick and efficient (they were expecting me of course) and I was shown to my gorgeous, sumptuous room, within minutes. The Room was even better in real life, especially the amazing ceilings and bathing facilities (I had a stunning stand alone bath tub (of course I used it, who wouldn't?) and a very modern, absolutely huge, wet room to choose from. The four poster bed and the luxurious and very useful ceiling fan, was very nice indeed and used throughout my stay. In fact, every single detail of this room, both decor and furnishings, were just FINE. As was the actual interior of the Hotel, extremely innovative, original and impressive. So much so, I didn't actually want to leave. But I got hungry so again I went to Reception and asked Carlos if he could recommend a nice local place and WOW that was one of the finest tapas and restaurants I've visited in Seville and only a few hundred metres. High quality food and excellent friendly service, so good, I went twice in a few hours! On Check out, I was a little late as I had very much taken my time over the amazing personal breakfast service (and decor). But Carlos was lovely again and offered to keep my bags for free for the day if necessary, which was an amazing gesture (remember, I only stayed ONE NIGHT). So, it goes without saying, I would highly recommend this Hotel and the next time I stay, I will make sure I get to the Rooftop bar early. I did a fleeting tour and it was very busy, bustling and a fantastic atmosphere with stunning views over Seville. Thank you Hotel Lobby and thank you Carlos. Hasta Luego!

We had the junior suite - really nicely designed but there was a terrible issue with the smell. Our room smelt absolutely awful because the bath is in the room and for a number of days we had a smell like rotting vegetables coming up from the drain next to the bath. The staff at the hotel were lovely and the hotel is in a great location. It is ashame that they don't have a lounge and cafe as sometimes I'd come back to our room and have to wait for the cleaners to finish doing room service and hadn't anywhere to go. The breakfast is nice but not great for vegans.

Stylish, classy and fantastic service throughout. A beautiful room with amazing views of the city and a very cool hot tub on the terrace. The room was massive and included robes, slippers and beautiful design all round. The ala carte breakfast was delicious with excellent choice. Rooftop bar is amazing and the staff were all very good indeed, a really good place. Lastly, in my view it’s the best location in the city, 10min walk from the really touristy bits and short walk from the river. Class all round

This hotel is in a great central location for anyone visiting Seville. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived at the reception. I had reason to e-mail the hotel a few times before our arrival and each response was immediate and attentive, so I was not surprised by how helpful the staff were during our stay. Everyone from reception to the Resturant and Bar could not have been better. Our room was beautifully decorated and everything is pristine and immaculate and the room was cleaned twice each day, morning and evening, real 5 star treatment. The bed was extremely comfortable and the temperature of the room just right. We had one small problem with the air conditioning on one evening but it was sorted immediately by a quick call to reception (within 5 min to be exact). We really loved the quality of the breakfast. Huge variety of fresh fruits, cereals, cold meats etc, but best of all you get a menu with loads of choice and everything is served fresh to your table! So many hotels here in Ireland (including 5 star!) continue with a buffet offering for a hot breakfast which is a big let down from my perspective, so top marks to Hotel Lobby, for the quality of breakfast which wasn’t very expensive when added to the booking. Overall this is a fantastic hotel in our opinion and the staff will make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door. You won’t be disappointed.
