Average hotel, located right in the centre of Sevilla. Has its own underground parking but paid for at €14 per day. Medium sized rooms, good housekeeping service although some workers only spoke spanish making it difficult to communicate.

The amount of money I paid for the room reservation was quite low, meaning that the ratio price/quality was quite high. The hotel location’s is great (almost facing the well-known Macarena church). The rooms are very good and spacious, the social areas are very nice. Next time in Seville, I’ll repeat this hotel. Enjoy!

4 star hotel with 5 star prices and 2 star accommodation. Stayed for 3 days last week after 3 days in the wonderful Conquistador in Cordoba. No comparison! We had to pay the full price on arrival and the room was in dire need of updating. The bath was a dirty grey at the bottom with chunks of enamel missing and down to black. The shower head was so small it was the type normally used as a secondary shower for cleaning purposes. I plugged in the hairdryer and when I removed it the socket and wires came away from the wall, although i reported it to the desk nothing was done about it. Although the wall mountings for soap dispensers were in place we were given small plastic sachets made in China, hardly environmentally friendly in this day and age. Also the carpet was dirty the whole place is in dire need of an update and as such is overcharging.

We only needed the room for a good night's rest. We did not get it. Felt awake the entire night.

Room was over-heated with no mechanism, that we could find, to adjust. There was a switch for AC which resulted in no AC just movement of hot air. Opening the window resulted in loud noise from the main street outside.

Walls feel non-existent. Could hear a group of girls maybe getting ready to head out around 10pm, and then heard them again when they returned at who knows what hour (because there is no clock in the room, mobiles turned off.) Could hear the woman on the other side having a long phone conversation. Could hear people in the hallways and then early in the morning when the cleaning staff were working. They do not speak in hushed voices as would be appropriate if they recognize people may be trying to sleep (as it is a hotel.)

The breakfast buffet was pretty good. Their parking garage was full so they sent us down the street to a large garage which may have been a plus since we had a large car and it did not require sharp turns and small streets. You pay the hotel for parking and they give you a voucher. It was 20euro for less 24hrs.

We walked to the Cathedral area and back, not a short walk, but flat and easy for us.

As with all the Eurostars / EXE hotels, the staff was wonderful. That said, this hotel has seen better days. One can tell that in its hay day it was probably a five star hotel, but it got stuck there. Furniture, fixings, electrical outlets - all belong to an era gone by. Wi-Fi did not work at all, even though I brought it to the attention of the staff several times. Electrical outlets are not enough and the few they have are not positioned where a traveller would need them. Room floors are carpeted, which in a very hot climate like Seville, it inadequate. The swimming pool on the rooftop and surroundings look uncared for (a coat of paint would be sufficient to make it look nicer). For the price, there are other better choices without the city. And their breakfast is not worth buying, albeit the fresh fruit is tasty. My recommendation - choose another EXE in the area or a different more modern hotel.

Because of our trainingcamp we have stayed in Exe Sevilla Macarena. The hotel is located in the older part of Sevilla, close to the old town and less than 10 minutes to the city centre by taxi.
It's a nice hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are basic but nice, but a little bit noisy. Next to our room was a couple staying and we could hear everything they did, like everything ;) .

The beds are soft and comy, the bathroom is clean and has a bath/shower combination. Sad thing is that we did not had a balcony, but it was not a problem at all.
Breakfast is nice and various. There is a lot of choice in bread and fruits, fresh orange juice and your normal cup of coffee or tea.

Overall this was a nice place to stay, even with a group. I can imagine that our group was a little bit noisy sometimes, the walls are pretty thin, so I hope there were not many complains about noise...

Thank you to all the staff of Exe Sevilla Macarena for having us!

Stay away! Absolutely terrible service, and the staff is so rude. The breakfast is super bad and the rooms smell like smoke. Besides the place is filled with old and agreessive guests. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.....

This hotel is old and dated the air conditioning works poorly the carpet is worn and tattered. It is definitely NOT a four star hotel. It is a two star hotel. The restaurant and bar is not open and neither is the pool. It is too early in the season for both evidently. If you like to sweat stay here.

Is there a refrigerator in a room? How about a kettle, and tea set?

Hi, I can confirm that there is Wi Fi in the rooms, I believe that there is a laundry service available, however I didn't use it. I can't specifically remember if there was a fridge in the room, however I believe there was as if there wasn't I would remember. If you read my review of this hotel, my experience wasn't great.

It’s an outside pool, so I don’t think it would be open still in oct/nov. You will find exact times on the hotel’s website.
