Really liked this hotel for its excellent location. Just around the corner from a great plaza and the outstanding Metropol. Great walking neighborhood. The room was also very nice, clean and a great breakfast, nice staff. Only downer was our room faced the street and...More

We are a family of 4, with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We had the quadruple room which turned out to have its own sun terrace. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable, nothing flashy but everything you want from a good city base. Loved having...More
Spacious and clean room, good location and very economic price (en FEB). Only one suggestion: receptionists could give us more specific answer/directions about good bars and restaurants. Otherwise everything OK.
This is a small property with tiny rooms and limited amenities. Hard to find on your own. Luckily we took a taxi. On the positive side, it is within easy walking distance to town center, the cathderal, Real Alcazar, etc.

The rooms we occupied (a single and a double) were on the first floor, ranged around a central lobby and looking down to an internal courtyard at ground floor level. Neither room had a patio or balcony fronting onto the outside street. As mentioned in my post, we considered this a huge advantage!
I've just checked the hotel website for you and I notice that the virtual tour shows a family room with a balcony, though it's not clear if this is external or overlooks the courtyard. If this is really important to you, it might be best to contact the hotel to clarify the situation. The Abril is a small hotel (20 rooms, I think) and is booked up very quickly, so the earlier you can secure the room you want, the better.
Sorry I can't be of more help to you. I hope that you will have a wonderful trip to Seville.
