It's a small family run hostal which is in need of a good coat of paint (& lets be honest a good Hoover) but it's totally charming. Hostal Sierpes is the complete opposite of the bland chain corporate boxes so beloved of some travelers. Set in a classic Seville house, the rooms, set around a central courtyard, are small &... This hostel is situated right in middle of Jewish sector but you need satnav to find it. Everything within walking distance. The hostel is in dire need of refurbishment but this seemed to add to the charm. The staff were very helpful. We did not boo, breakfast but had asked for car parking which is in a secure garage immediately... More

Very basic accommodation. Rooms clean but stark. Reception, dining room in dire need of facelift. Stair carpet hadn't been hovered for months. Surely young man on reception duty, resident old crone parked in wheel chair in front of tv. Two unattractive dogs lurking around. Breakfast awful. Saving grace central location.

The Hostal is not very easy to find - situated in a very small Calle - but its very central. Around the corner you'll find the Museo the baile del Flamenco with great Flamenco Show. Near the hostal there are several restaurants and bars. Walk distance to the cathedral and Archivo de India. The room was very small but really,... More

To be honest the Hostel Sierpes doesn't deserve more than an average rating. For a start it needs a through deep clean. The public stair carpets were filthy and needed a good vacumining. The dining room looks as if hasn't been decorated for about 100 years, even cleaning the net curtains would be something. Our room was clean and serviced... More

A very spacious hotel in the historical center of Sevilla. A very helpful staff, but no lift in the building. It's a big disadvantage, as we had a heavy luggage. However I must admit the receptionist helped us to carry our suitcases to the second floor. Rooms are ok, clean bathroom, stable WiFi connection. But it's really noisy at night.... More

I booked this hostel having read the reviews on Trip Advisor. I arrived by car and was met by a helpful man who seemed to be the receptionist. The garage was located conveniently in front of the hostel. We then went to check in and the same man checked us in. There were 3 dogs at reception which seemed to... More
