Please be advised that I'm only reviewing the rooftop terrace bar here, as we didn't stay in the hotel, but I thought it was worth leaving a review. The view is indeed lovely, with the Giralda and Alcazar only a block away, but the cocktail we had was 7.50 euros (relatively expensive for Seville) and the worst I've ever had. A margarita should have salt around the rim, but not mixed into the drink, and it shouldn't be this weak - all I could taste was salty water - hardly any lime or tequila. If you can't make cocktails, don't serve them - I wish we'd stuck to wine or Cava, where you can't go wrong in Spain.

Response from A García, Director General at Hotel Palacio Alcazar
Responded 17 Oct 2021

Location is perfect. Front staff helpful and friendly. Do not, however, reserve a room that faces the front courtyard. From 06:00 when the cleaning crew starts cleaning the streets to the city emptying of trash, followed by hours of throngs of tourists until about 22:00. Don't forget the annoying neighbor's constantly barking dog. But other than that, a nice place to stay!

We loved our stay at Hotel Palacio Alcazar. The location of the quaint hotel was the reason we booked it. We reserved a room with a cathedral view, which was excellent. The staff was professional and polite.
Please know that the cathedral bells do chime 😊 and the fabulous plaza location comes with outside noise. Neither were problems for us.
The rooftop bar is charming, too.

We spent 3 nights at this quiet hotel. The location is perfect! Near all the special monuments and sights, yet far enough off the busy walkway. The room was clean & beautiful, tight off the lobby (yet surprisingly quiet), with fresh flowers and chocolates. Bathroom is well equipped, bed is comfortable. Our terrace was really a small inner ‘shaft’ with a plant-filled patio, shared with the room next door, with a table and chairs (& a full ashtray). We kept that outer door closed because of the smell of cigarette smoke the first day. Ironically, the front desk told us the room next door complained about our smoking….we told them we don’t smoke….it must have been coming from the rooms above us. The front desk staff was amazing, translating, arranging for a taxi to the train station, giving suggestions, and especially helping with a Spanish website while trying to secure tickets to the cathedral. The small roof top bar is a nice, quiet place for a beer or cava after a long day of site seeing. The carrot cake is delicious! We highly recommend this hotel.

The main point of this hotel is the location. Walking distance for all the monuments and life in Sevilla: cathedral (2 min) , Alcazar palace (5 min), Plaza de toros (10 min), iconic bars (3 min).
The rooms are fair: clean (toilette and rooms) and the bed and pillows really comfortable. Also the towels are good. We had one room with no view in the same floor where is the terrace and no problems.
The breakfast (if included) is served in their terrace. They have nice view. The terrace is open to open public also.
The people is really kind and client oriented, always trying to help (24 hs open).
Something important: Uber/taxis (at least from the airport) cannot enter in the area where is located (pedestrian streets)so you need to walk around 300 mts to be there.
In our case the value for money it was definitely worth it.

We were not staying at the hotel , but having met some rather rude waiters in the “we are so busy we don’t care” area around the palace we spotted the roof top terrace advert.

Great view and the beers were cold and tasty.

Marta in the rooftop bar was friendly and efficient - so hospitable, professional and full of interesting conversation. A Star!

On reception I needed help with purchasing some tickets on line Helena was amazing - polite, professional and just brilliant in every way. She navigated the Spanish website for me and the tickets were sorted. Again a Star!

If these two wonderful people are a reflection of the hotel then - wow!

Big thank you to both ;)

Neat location close to the Cathedral and basically in the center of it all. Room a little small but window opened to a pretty view of the orange tree lined quiet street. We walked to eat and visit the sites, so it was very convenient for that. Had a car, the parking is a bit of a walk, and a little hard to find our first time.

This is a great little find. A cute and affordable hotel right in the middle of everything. Clean rooms, friendly staff and within walking distance of literally everything (right next to the Alcazar palace)

This was our second time staying at this hotel and we were not disappointed. It's location is close to everywhere that matters. Staff are wonderful and took care of our every need. The rooftop bar and restaurant is amazing. A little oasis in what is a very busy city. Food is great. Will be back next year.

Taxi’s are not allowed to drive directly to the hotel. There is an approximately 100 meter walk from taxi drop off.
