We've stayed in quite a few Ibis Budget Hotels and they've always lived up to their high standards of cleanliness and comfort. The rooms are a little small but they are quiet, bright and modern, all at a decent price. The hotel has private underground parking which leads you straight to the hotel, however it comes at a slight cost. The receptionist were friendly and helpful and if we ever came to Seville again, we would choose the Ibis Budget.

I've stayed in Ibis Budget hotels on a couple of other occasions (short stays in Bruges and Lugano), and found them to be excellent value and, more importantly, comfortable bases. When I booked a week's trip to Seville, I was delighted to discover an Ibis Budget had opened there just this year, and we booked immediately. I'm afraid this was to be a massive regret.

Whilst you anticipate and accept a level of compromise when paying for budget accommodation, I believe the location of this hotel to be a little beyond the pale. It's very close to the airport (rarely a good sign), and when we were dropped off by the shuttle bus it's fair to say we were slightly apprehensive. The hotel, despite attempts to spruce things up with a couple of rows of palm trees, is flanked by a motorway overpass with roaring, unrelenting traffic. There is no real pavement in the surrounding area to speak of, just broken tiles, grit and road, which was a joy for suitcases and safety when arriving in the dark. Banish any notions of nipping out for a quick bite to eat or walk in the local area, the hotel is firmly located within an ugly, empty industrial estate, with a row of permanently closed businesses and a Repsol garage. In exasperation we crossed the motorway (the stuff holidays are made of), and walked down the other side, where it all just became extremely shady and we beat a hasty retreat through the car fumes and traffic walkers.

The rooms themselves are not for the claustrophobic. Despite initially appearing almost trendy, super efficient and great value, things begin to unravel once your case has been set down and you realise the floor space is gone, there's no drawers, etc. The biggest problem, however, is the toilet - which is situated in the room itself, behind a paper thin door with no lock, with a big gap under it and a large hole in the door functioning as handle. If privacy is a concern for you or your party, this isn't the hotel for you, and it's the same story with the shower. On the plus side, the room comes with a TV with a reasonable range of international channels, the bed is comfortable and the rooms are spotless without fail. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. The saving grace for this particular Budget, however, was its excellent insulation - that awful traffic noise from the overpass (which makes up your view) isn't audible with the window closed, a wise investment by Ibis. However, the heat in Seville, even in October, is such that you want the window open - but can't for two reasons: (1) the aforementioned noise; (2) the traffic fumes are disgusting. As a result, I slept terribly, sustained by poor air conditioning.

The breakfast is not worth the rather exorbitant price tag. It's the usual grim affair of dreadful coffee and bread/croissants with no or horrible tastes. Bizarrely, you aren't provided with plates and are instead expected to spread your toast or whatever on the tray or the table, not good.

Finally, whilst you're very much out of the way of things, the number 28 bus takes you into town in about 20 minutes for the reasonable price of 1.40€. The journey, though, particularly when at least twice daily, is very draining and unpleasant. They don't have timetables in Seville, so you just have to take a chance on its arrival. This is made worse by the bus stop at which you wait; it's at the edge of a waste ground, directly bordering the motorway. Choked in car fumes and noise, you trundle on to the (seemingly constantly busy) bus when it arrives, and are rattled and bundled around through super dodgy areas for what seems like forever, before being deposited near the centre.

Although I've stayed in other Ibis Budget hotels and enjoyed them, this was sadly a very disappointing experience. The location is a compromise too far, and the roads and bus journeys left me feeling more stressed out than before my holiday had begun. That being said, the staff are lovely and the rooms are very clean and predictable, and should you be in town alone, or on business, for a short period, I'd recommend this place for sure. If you're travelling as a family, or even as a couple, for holiday purposes, I'd look elsewhere - it's draining, causes bad moods and spoils the trip. I'd stay in Ibis Budget hotels again, but never for a week, and never in Seville.

I stayed in this hotel during the Semana Santa so needless to say the rooms in Seville were hard to find at a decent price. Ibis budget offered a great value for my stay despite being a little further from downtown than what I wanted, but it was easy to find and very well indicated from the main road.
The hotel is brand new as it has opened I believe only a month ago. They were offering a free underground parking right next to the hotel which was great (I'm not sure if it'll remain free or if it's just a promotion for the opening) although it seemed like it was possible to park on the nearby streets for free as well keeping in mind that it's an industrial zone so during the week there may be a lot of cars parked at some hours of the day. There are Lidl, Dia and Mercadona supermarkets within easy walking distance and a bus station about 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel with the 28 bus taking you directly to the heart of downtown Seville (with a stop next to the Santa Justa train station) so despite being a little far from downtown, it's still very convenient by bus (15-20minutes). There are a couple of restaurants on Aviacion street, and the second one from the hotel offers a great array of tapas and meals for great prices (menu del dia for 7euros)
The staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful. Massimiliano greeted us on the first day and always tried to help during our 3 night stay and then there was Deneb who was an absolute gem as she took the time to give us plenty of extremely helpful information on how to make the best of the Semana Santa in Seville, which isn't easy when it's your first trip to the city and yet she made sure we felt like we knew exactly what we were doing thanks to her great advice. A big thanks to her, we're sure we wouldn't have seen half of what we did without her.
The rooms are, very basic and every space has been calculated to the millimeter, but it's functional and comfortable. The room was obviously brand new and very clean and you had to maneuver a little around the bed and the corners but it worked. There were a few little details I didn't like such as the window shades which leave few options, the shower is large and cool (with colorful lights ;-) ) but the hole to open the shower door lets water out so it's not very practical, so they should at least provide a towel mat for when you step out of the shower, that way most of the water will also fall on it. Also space-wise, we only had 1 suitcase so we were able to put it in a corner behind the bed but anybody travelling with more than 1 suitcase will certainly have to struggle to put them somewhere as the space is very limited. The bed was very comfortable to my taste and despite being right next to an overpass, the soundproofing of the hotel is truly impressive; you'd never guess the highway is there. I slept very well throughout my stay.
Overall, I have to say that you get what you pay for. This hotel costs 40 euros a night so don't expect Ritz standards. If I compared it to a 4 star hotel in downtown Seville I surely wouldn't give it a good rating, but it is exactly what it advertises, a few little things could be better about it, if you're on a budget, this is a great option, but obviously it's not for everybody and it's certainly not one of the best hotels in town. Of course, people who enjoy lots of space and luxury shouldn't even consider this hotel. But as far as I'm concerned, despite being able to afford more expensive hotels I'd be willing to go back to this hotel as it was very decent and with great staff so for people who like me prefer to spend their money on activities and good food as long as they get a good night sleep in a clean hotel, I would recommend it.

The closest hotel to the Sevilla Airport I could find. That pretty much covers the upsides.

Breakfast - basically bread with sliced cheese and ham.
Room - the shower cabin was within the room, as well as the washbasin.
Overall the hotel was very worn down. In comparison with other Ibis Budget I had stayed in (in Amsterdam), this one was much worse.

We loved this hotel. The staff were kind and spoke excellent English, French and Spanish. Yes, the rooms are smaller than one might expect, but the price was great.

We paid for breakfast, which was adequate to get started for the day although I wish there was at least one hot item. They were out of fresh fruit one day. We've also had better croissants elsewhere, but these were good enough. Wi-fi was good for the entire stay.

This hotel isn't for everyone.
1) It's not centrally located and doesn't pretend to be (hence the aeropuerto in the name). It's conveniently located near the airport and one stop away on the EA bus.

2) Public transit is your friend. Save money by taking taxis or Uber. The 28 bus runs fairly often and will take you to the center of Sevilla. Expect to transfer at Prado (hotel staff will give you a map). Consider going to the TUSSAM office at Prado to buy a transit card. One will suffice for multiple people, but request "con transbordo" (with transfer) to save money. Otherwise the default is "sin transbordo" (without transfer). If you're uncomfortable with transit then consider a hotel closer to the center. Plan about 30-40 minutes to get to your destination. Note: Google Maps often overstates how long it will take to get places.

3) The rooms are smaller than other hotels, but adequate and quiet. If you want a large room consider the regular ibis in the same plaza.

4) We rented a car from the airport for one day to explore another city. You can park for free on the street. We had no trouble on a weekend night finding a spot nearby. Yes, the hotel works with a garage, but save your money and park on the street.

Final thoughts, this hotel offers great value. We looked for alternates closer to the city, but couldn't justify the cost. This was a great and inexpensive way to visit Sevilla. We would absolutely stay here again, but understand why some people may decide it's not for them.

We spent 3 nights here. It's a great location for visiting Seville. Five minute walk to the bus stop, about a 20 minute trip in to the terminus then an easy and enjoyable walk to all the sites.
Our room was on 5th floor and was in new condition, comfortable bed and pillow, good strong and hot shower, quiet, although traffic could be heard with window open, it was more a constant hum and didn't disturb us at all. The internet was a good connection. The paid secure parking was in the building next door, it was easy to access. Parking on the street is available but not secure.
Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Because it was during Easter Week we had to pay higher rate.
We would stay here again without hesitation.

When you can't even get a smile and a hola out of the desk staff on booking in, then I think you have failed as a hospitality establishment even before we have seen the room.
The receptionist/cleaner was more interested in finishing the mopping than booking us in, so made us wait until she had finished.
The room is a typical Ibis Budget and typically miles away from anything you might be interested in seeing.
The entrance to the car park is harder to find than the entrance to Diagon Alley.
Here is a tip look for the innocuous looking brown garage door half way down the street on the right after the Ibis gated car park, you will have to get out of your car to talk into the intercom and if you are lucky the brown door will be opened for you.
To be honest I would give this place a miss, common courtesy is free so it shouldn't be missing from even the most budget establishment.

We booked the hotel solely for its proximity to airport. The great thing about it is that you can take airport bus for only 1 stop and about 7 min walk to its door step. Although the set up is extremely basic with the room being one of the tiniest I have ever been in, it serves its purpose well if you need easy access to airport. Breakfast costs only 4.95 euros with enough to fill the stomach. .and price is good for that range of accommodation

I stayed one night and I can say that the room with the second bed above the main bed is not so convenient because I kicked my head twice in the frame of the second bed.Another think not comfortable was the fact that the AC in the room is working only between 7 p.m and 7 a.m...the breakfast was very poor..only pastry and butter based products...otherwise according with the expectation for an Ibis Budget...

Rooms are quite small but the proximity to the airport is quite good. We were there during famous Seville fair and the staff was helpful in providing us with tips & to-do things. Public transport is not difficult to get hence, not a bad choice if you have an early morning flight to catch.
