Only stayed one night but extremely welcome and charming. staff could not have been more helpful. large room with 2 singles overlooking pretty courtyard. Wifi good, AC good all for a very reasonable rate. Weakest aspect was the breakfast served in the bar. Lacked quantity and choice, very basic.

The staff of the hotel and the attached restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The price was attractively low, but the rooms were pretty basic. Beds not great. Internet access was poor. On the up side, the facilities were generally well kept and looked as though they had been recently remodelled. The beer garden out front made for great socializing! Santiponce is a nice town to walk around in as well.

Perfect hotel, very close by historic site of ancient Roman city of Italica (third century before Christ). Comfortable hotel with excellent retaurant and terraces. Good rooms, good breakfast and good service. Free parking. Good bus service to centre of Seville.

Extremely friendly hotel staff who aim to serve. The hotel is across the street from the Italica Roman ruins in the quaint town of Santiponce. You are still only 15 minutes from downtown Sevilla by car or you can take the bus that passes right in front of the hotel. Plenty of free parking. There is a bar/restaurant on one side and then a nicer restaurant on the other side which serves very good food during comida and cena hours. Hotel is older but facilities are clean and we got a good night's sleep. Lots of nice common areas to sit and visit in. No problem with Internet.

First impressions were good. A little hotel tucked away in a small town. The locals eat and drink there and theres no better recommendation than that. They speak less English than i speak Spanish so google translate is a great help. We loved it! The inside of hotel is stuck in a time warp but its clean and quiet. The food in the restaurant was really good. Try the sizzling garlic prawns and their piri-piri chicken. Tasty! The room rate was good value at €45. We stayed there twice on the way to and from Portugal and would definitely stay there again.

Whilst the hotel is at some distance from the Roman amphitheatre (despite its publicity) it is situated next door to Italica, one of Spain's most important Roman sites. The hotel staff are efficient and friendly, but the restaurant waiter was clearly put out at the idea of people dining at 8:30 at night; far too early! Breakfast in the attached bar next door was a rather rudimentary and noisy affair.

We had been booked into a hotel in the center of Seville, but on arriving there at 11pm they had double booked and everywhere else was full in the City. The booking agets organised the Hotel Anfiteatro Romano for us as a replacement. They paid for a taxi - its a 15 min 20 Euro drive from the City.

The staff couldn't have been more helpfull bearing in mind their English was as limited as our Spanish.

Rooms are cleanand large but reasonably basic - en suite toilet and shower room (Everything worked well). The Wifi is good and its free. New flas screen TV which worked fine.

Breakfast was served at the small bar cafe next door - and is a very basic affair one (or two - depending on if they like you or not that day!) pieces of chunky toasted bread with butter / jam etc - a glass of Orange Juice and a coffee. Nothing fancy but probably sufficient.

There is a bus stop some 2 or 3 min walk from the hotel and its a 25 min ride to the bus station in the City - hourly on weekends and every 30 mins weekdays.

When we left the staff organised us a taxi - in fact the best thing about this hotel is the friendly staff - really helpfull. In summary its functional clean and perfectly adequate hotel - no nasty surprises......
